Dining
The Reef offers a Starbucks Café, serving coffee, espresso drinks, light breakfast items, sandwiches, and salads. About 20 restaurants and casual eateries, along with 20 bars and lounges, are located throughout Atlantis. The following restaurants are located at the Cove Atlantis, right next door to the Reef:
Mesa Grill - Award-winning chef and TV personality Bobby Flay brings his vibrant Southwestern cuisine to his first restaurant outside the United States. Guests enjoy direct views of the beach and ocean; some outdoor seating is available. The bar includes a terrazzo-and-seashell counter, flanked by columns of river rock. Dinner only. Children under 12 are not permitted at Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill.
Mosaic - This Mediterranean-influenced restaurant features “action cooking” stations to prepare dishes on demand, from fresh fish to churrasco steak. Designed by Jeffery Beers, Mosaic embraces natural light, which plays off the polished chrome, wenge wood, and limestone. Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Cascades Grill - Located by Cascades Pool. Hot and cold wraps, barbecued pork, seasonal salads, jerked meats, and frozen drinks.
Notable restaurants elsewhere at the Atlantis Resort include:

“Paradise”
It is truly a Paradise. From the moment you first walk in you can feel relaxation and be amazed by the architecture and decor. We enjoyed our stay there. The girls had a blast. The employees were so friendly, and the bahamians in general, they make you feel welcomed. The only down was food prices: Four bucks for a bottle of water? Wish food prices were less expensive.
“it was beautiful, bathrooms were all marble and big mirrors, very clean, we had a blast!”
our trip was wonderful, the hotel Reef was beautiful ,very upper scale and clean, room service was excellent the Atlantis resort has everything for all ages.I would recommend to everyone in a heartbeat.
“Atlantis was a dream destination for a family with a 9 year old”
The hotel and Atlantis resort were outstanding. The waterpark was awesome and provided hours of fun for our 9 year old daughter. Appreciated the shuttle service between allbthe different hotels. The choices for restaurants for dinner were good, just recommend to book early.
“Early November 2011”
We stayed for 4 nights. Large suite with large bathroom including shower and bath tub. Nice balcony with 2 wicker chairs. King size bed. Cook top, small refrigerator and another with beer etc. Staff was cheerful and plentiful. Close to many Atlantis-owned restaurants. Mesa Grill was very nice. Isolated from the rest of Nassau as Reef is on Paradise Island. Lots of chaise longues on beach and pool. Nice beach and pool. Very nice time and very good weather, 80s. We would visit again, no questions.
“Great second trip to Reef...Will be Back!”
This place has it all...great views, its own beach, great service, polite & helpful staff, plenty of activities for families, water slides & tube rides galore, full kitchenette with frig, microwave, stovetop, dishwasher, cookware, utensils, etc. in room, terrific dining options on premises, Starbucks in the hotel lobby area. Food and drink service on the beach! Peggy at the front desk was awesome...really went the extra mile to be sure you were happy. About a 30 min ride from the airport...rec cab for about $35-$40 instead of cramming into those shuttle buses and waiting until they are full then hitting every hotel before getting to yours. Also rec. stopping at a supermarket before getting to hotel as food prices are not inexpensive at the hotel. Rec steak at the Mesa Grill and buffets were not too bad though a bit pricey. Overall great trip and not crowded in the fall ( Sept/Oct). Highly Recommend!
“1st class all the way but be prepared to pay for it. Then again if that scares you dont go”
Very sweet
“Best Trip Ever!”
I honestly can't say enough great things about the Reef and Atlantis resort as a whole! Every single employee was kind, helpful and courteous! We loved every single minute of our stay. We actually asked the concierge an arbitrary question that had nothing to do with the Atlantis or Paradise Island. She said she would look it up for us and get back to us and SHE DID!! That was just so nice of her and totally going that extra mile! Some people complained in their review that the hotel was too far away from all the action. We actually loved that about the Reef. It was a short 10 min walk to craziness and 10 min walk back to seclusion! However, I can’t sugar coat it… everything IS expensive. But you definitely can find ways to make it more economical! Our room at the Reef had everything you would need to make a healthy breakfast and lunch too (coffee maker, tea pot, micro/convection oven, blender, toaster, stovetop, dishwasher and all utensils, plates, cups, mugs, etc)! And there is also starbucks right down stairs! So we saved on breakfasts and lunches and splurged at dinner!
“great location and staff”
Absolutely a great place to stay. Room was clean and spacious. The pool and beach was the best place to start or end the day. Shuttle service was fast and easy to move between the hotels and attractions. The cove is right next door, so you can walk to the water slides and dolphin cay.
“Can't Wait to go Back!”
Great Quiet Part of the Resort! Beautiful Pool and Beach Access! Very Clean and Comfortable!
“Great Stay but pricey”
We just returned from a 7 night stay at the Reef Atlantis. We love what the resort has to offer to all ages, beautiful beaches, great pools with water slides, dophin cay, a casino, and 5 star restaurants. There is truly something for everyone, however, not a trip for those who do not like to spend money on food and drinks. It is expensive and therefore not for those travelers who are used to taking cruises or going to All-Inclusive Resorts. We had stayed at the Royal Towers 5 years ago, so we already knew and were prepared for the prices of meals and drinks, but I guess many other new travelers to the resort never investigated the prices, and every day at meal time we could hear disgrunted guests complaining about prices, whining to the poor waiters and waitresses about how expensive it was (they don't set the prices - and I felt badly that they received the ire of these verbally abusive guests). My husband equates vacationing at a place like Atlantis to driving a luxury car - if you can't afford the premium gas that it requires, you really can't afford the car. The same can be said about Atlantis. If you don't want to eat and pay for the experience of 5 star dining, then you probably aren't Atlantis clientel. Just be warned ahead of time. If you are prepared to pay for the experience of dining at great restaurants on one of the most beautiful resorts in the World, it is a wonderful place to stay and worth seeing.

Paradise Island, New Providence Island, Bahamas: Paradise Island resembles Las Vegas-upon-the-Caribbean with its fanciful resorts and white sands. Tourists often head to the islands casinos, five-star restaurants, and shopping gallerias; its beaches, water parks, and nightclubs, however, are geared primarily for resort guests. The Potters Cay fish market is an easy detour from Paradise Island. Grouper and conch are typical catches of the day.
