Loved every minute! !

Posted Jun 26, 2015
We loved every minute of being there. This was the best vacation we have ever had. I would have rated everything a 100%, but there were issues with the water not being on one day at the hotel that we were there. Food was a little expensive, but we had groceries delivered to our room which really helpex. I will say when we did eat at Atlantis the food was so awesome and the the buffet set up was so gorgeous it was almost sinful to see so much awesome beautiful food! I would go here in a heartbeat!!

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful beach

Posted Jun 24, 2015
My husband and I stayed for our wedding anniversary and absolutely loved this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and the beach was absolutely beautiful. The only problem was the food was very very expensive. We also avoided the whole Atlantis thing and just hung out at the beach and the beautiful pool next to it

Beautiful beach

Posted Jun 2, 2015
Beautiful beach and pool area! Crystel clear water and white sand. There were plenty of lounge chairs available. The hotel didnt appear to be crowded at all. Plan to spend a lot of $ for food and drink. Staff was very friendly. I would have liked to have beverage service at the pool and beach. I did see some staff members waiting on guests but we were never approached.

Very nice accommodation.

Pros: Good family vibe. Nearby Cove too loud and trendy.
Cons: More food/ drink availability. At pool and in lobby. Evening turndown service would also be great.
Location: It's Atlantis, enough said. Suggest you get out of Atlantis and dine at The One and Only one nightIt's what a real vacation in the Caribean feels like
I just returned from a stay at The Reef. I was overall very pleased with the hotel room itself. If you must go to Atlantis it's the best place to stay. A few things to know. I stAyed in a studio suite and the kitchen area is very small. Ok for making coffee or a snack but it's really too small to make a meal. Although, we heated up several leftovers for lunch in the microwave...You will be eating leftovers once you see your restaurant bill at any of the Atlantis restaurants!! Another point to know is that there is no restaurant there for breakfast. Call me crazy, but isn't that what vacation is all about? Starting the day with a bagel from Starbucks, which is located in the lobby gets old! Besides that, the Starbucks line was always miles long!!! The pool area offers no drink or food service. another negative for me. You can get up and order a drinks and food at a quick service bar but again, isn't this what vacation is all about?? At these prices I expect more conveniences.

Beautiful hotel

Posted May 4, 2015
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Reef. The hotel was beautifully decorated with class and clean. Our room was very nice and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the 24 hour Atlantis shuttle bus service. Our entire trip was absolutely amazing.

Great family vacation during spring break

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Cons: We lost hot water pressure everyday around 5pm +/- 1h. It would go down to a trickle sometimes. Probably because of everyone showering at same time.
Location: Food onsite is ridiculously expensive. Fortunately we ordered groceries ahead of time online and had it delivered. I'd highly recommend it.
We had a truly great time at this resort during spring break in late March. We traveled there with two kids, 1.5 and 4.5 years old. The resort in enormous and beautiful. Staff was uniformly friendly. We were pleasantly surprised that the daily resort fee was already included in the booking price through Expedia, which meant free internet and other minor things. There are so many things to do. We spent 5 nights there and probably only experienced about half of what the resort offered. There is a lot of water activities like water slides and rapid river rides on tubes. Unfortunately, our kids were too small to do the water slides (you have to be at least 48 inches). However, our older one was able to do the rapid river rides while riding with an adult. The pools were very nice and the ones on the Reef side of the resort were not crowded even during peak times. The pools in the main areas of the resort (where the water activities are) were much more crowded. There are small life jackets around all the pools that our youngest used in the water, which was really convenient. The beach outside the Reef and Cove was also very clean, white sand, and not too crowded, though you do need to get out there earlier if you want a lounge chair in the first row at the water's edge. There were lots of fish in the shallow waters which was great. Water temperature was about 82F in late march. Our best family vacation so far. Definitely would return in the future.
