“Not as advertised”

We were not very pleased with the Towne Hotel. It was convenient to town, but that was all. Both nights we stayed we could not get any sleep because of all the noise outside. We even requested a room away from the street, but it didn't help. The partying and loud agruing went on past 4:00am! There are no outlets in the room other then what the tv and refrigerator are plugged in to. None in the bathroom at all, so forget tring to use a hair dryer or electric razor. Also, they added a $25.00 additional charge for the room! The breakfast buffet was terrible, we just walked down the street to a little diner and ate a good breakfast.

shopping and eating area, pretty close public beach, it is a very thinkable hotel.

A decent, no frills place in a great location. Still overpriced (for something that isn't even as nice as a Motel 6), but that's the Bahamas. The lobby and courtyard are ok, in an islands kind of way, but the rooms really aren't great.

Friday night I got approched by a postitute in front of the motel when a guy came up and tried to rob me!!!!! So I'm not pleased with this motel!!!!

“Can't beat the price!”

The hotel is just the basics. It was clean and orderly. Don't expect a mint on your pillow, but if your looking to save a few bucks this is the best spot. It is right downtown and that will minimize the costs for a taxi. We went on a Blackbeard cruise and the cost to the docks was $29. Breakfast was the same everyday, orange juice, sasuage, boiled eggs, cheese, toast, jelly. Expect to pay for water though.
