hotel is being downsized.

downsizing to make room for baha mar. Chinese coming to build new hotel. 2000 in may. if you just want a place to sleep and that's it this is ok. room is nice but no amenities.

Sunday arrival

Location: We stayed here because it was close to the airport
This hotel over priced and the GED was like sleeping on a slab of concrete with an in h of foam on it. the staff was friendly....the room service was excellent. it's too bad the restaurants were closed on Sundays. Our room was very clean.

Great Vacation, Nice Hotel

Pros: Nice and quiet and relaxing..............
When we first arrived at the Wyndham Resort, they had over booked our room, but they quickly sent us to another Hotel, the Breezes. They paid for the Taxi and told us we would get free food and free drinks because it was all inclusive. I was good with that, so we went there. We had to wait in a long line and we were a little upset about being sent here, but we really had no choice. We got our room, which was nice and went down to the pool and to grab a burger by the pool. Only problem was they were mostly younger kids on spring break. That was ok until 2AM when they were pounding on doors and yelling and screaming. We did not get a good night sleep and to make matters worse, the Wifi was not working anywhere in that hotel. We couldn’t even use our phones or internet. The next day we were getting sick of this place and talked to the front desk clerk, she called the Wyndham for us and put us on the phone with them. My husband was angry and told them they need to somehow compensate us for this mix up. They told us to come on over (they paid for the Taxi again) and they would expedite the room for us, and told us they would secure our luggage for us while we come over and walk around till our room was ready. For our troubles they put us in a Penthouse Suit, Tower C, It was beautiful and more than made up for the mix up. We loved it….., It had two bathrooms, a hot tub, a wet bar a beautiful ocean view, two TV’s and the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in.

No wifi in the room is like a joke... Otherwise is ok ~~ great side is we can use the next door hotel's facility.

Pros: There was free internet in lobby. View from our room was good. Beach was great.
Cons: This hotel just needs to be demolished. We were there for 12 days. I would have given anything to go to another hotel. Very bad. Dirty, moldy.
Location: Daquiri Shack across street was great. Thank God we had a car so we could leave the hotel.
We are not picky people. We travel a lot. Everything seemed shut down here. Restaurants weren't open every day. It was like the place was deserted. Got to our room, wasn't cleaned. Started unpacking, then they called and made us move to another room so we had to pack up again. Got to our new room and the lock on the door wouldn't let us in so we had to go back down and deal with that- all on the first day. The carpet was fraying everywhere. There was mold on the walls. Never saw anyone in the pool.

Slated for Demolition?

This hotel has been neglected so long that it is probably not recuperable. Only the casino is kept in reasonable condition. The other sections are decrepit, mostly deserted. The rugs and the bathroom floor in our room were sticky and smelly. The safe didn't work, the bathroom outlet didn't work, and the tub did not drain. The lamps were all loose, with only a turn of a bolt needed to tighten them. Lampshades were stained. Virtually all the shops are closed or vacant. Restaurants are closed. The best place to eat is Starbuck's. We spent most of our time next door at the Melia Resort. Much better.

Terrible hotel in need of a revamp

Shabby, falling down and in much need of a makeover or tear down. Baha-mar is being built next door by same owners and the are shutting the Wyndham down for Reno in a few months. Short staffed, empty and little amenities. Do not stay here until it is remodelled.

when I arrived to check in I was greeted with a short uninterested host at the desk, that surprised me with a $38 per day room cleaning fee. That didn't start my stay off on the best note. Room need paint as there were rust spots on the door frames.

Hotel very poor condition. Sent to 3 different rooms on arrival either unclean or key not work. Will Never return or recommend

Beautiful beach

Enjoyed our stay. This is our 4th stay there. Cable Beach is gorgeous.
