“Best for the budget minded, VERY easy going guest”

Internet service was not consistent - unavailable one evening. Room was rather small but clean. Micro & fridge worked great, super water pressure. TV remove buttons were sticky (hate to think of why). AC/Heat unit was new but loud & I found it very difficult to set it at an even temperature. Probably works best when it's very cold or very hot outside. The 3 days we stayed, temps were in the 50s. Hotel was 99% empty, but for some reason, the clerk decided to put the only other guest at the hotel directly above our room. Whether the upstairs guests meant to or not, they stomped around like elephants until late into the night. Mattress was well used. If you're on a budget and staying at the eastern shore of Virginia, this is an OK hotel, just don't come expecting anything more than a 1 star hotel.

“I would not recommend this hotel!”

This hotel was overpriced and not maintained well. It seemed as if it was purchased and nothing much was done to fit anything. Room had an odor, one of two lights didn't light, etc.

“poorly maintained and managed”

Very unfriendly desk clerk. Room was superficially clean, but had dust and dirt behind everything. Non smoking room but still had a musty smell.
