Convenient locationPosted Nov 28, 2011
Location: The town of Nauvoo, Illinois is just up the road. There is a beautiful park and the river bottoms has historic buildings from the Joseph Smith pilgrimage with guided tours. Don't miss the Hotel Nauvoo for a wonderful meal and Baxter's Winery for locally grown and produced wine and blue cheese.
This is a very nice condo with full kitchen and two bedrooms/two baths. It was clean and attractive. We arrived at night and the sign to the condos was hard to see - not lighted and in the country. This is a new place with no landscaping, but the location is close to Nauvoo, Illinois and Ft. Madison, Iowa where there are historic sights to see and wonderful parks for kids to play.

Home away from HomePosted Aug 15, 2011
The room was wonderful. If you are looking for a "home" to stay in while you are away this is the place to be. I would recommend as you check in to ask for a top floor room. We had a family above us and they were running around at all hours. It didn't matter if it was late at night or really early in the morning. They were running. That was the only complaint I had. If we had been on the top floor it would have been completely perfect.

Nice!Posted Aug 4, 2011
It was hard to reserve the condo because it would only let us reserve it if we listed only 2 people. It obviously houses more than that. It made me worry that we had not really reserved a big enough place. All turned out Ok though. But I had to call and bug the Villa manager several times to make sure. The non-stick fry pan was tiny. Overall a nice place though!

More like a small apartment. Two bedrooms have laundry facilities.

Fridge, kitchen, they even had things you might have forgotten in the manager's office! Even books and board games! Homey service and care. They go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and happy...
