Preciosa ubicación en zona encantadora. La habitación era excelente y tenía un bonito balcón con vistas al patio. La recepción 24 horas fue en realidad virtual. Hablamos con el personal por intercomunicador. En un momento dado, el personal nos colgó. Había pedido una plaza de aparcamiento pero cuando llegamos me dijeron que no, y tuve que aparcar mi coche lejos del casco antiguo. Aunque dijeron que el estacionamiento estaba justo fuera del casco antiguo, los espacios siempre estaban llenos durante los 3 días que estuvimos allí, y tuvimos que estacionar un buen paseo lejos del hotel. El personal del restaurante dejó muy claro que no tenían nada que ver con el hotel, e incluso cuando preguntamos cuáles eran los horarios de apertura, nos dijeron que leyéramos los avisos en recepción.

Overnight stay in Olite
The room and bathroom were large and excellently appointed. Location perfect for walk to Olite centre. Parking a bonus - underground so cool but a little tight for large cars. Reception staff lovely, we overcame the language barrier with good humour on both sides 😊. Breakfast good value and totally COVID safe. We did not eat our evening meal there, but menu looked good. Would recommend

Very comfortable for a night, spacious and comfortable room, parking was not difficult in the nearby church lot. Decor is slightly dated but the room was clean and the hotel is located close to the main square.

Room was clean and fine. No mini-fridge. The junior suite had two beds in a little annex which didn’t have air con. So to get the area cool enough, the main room was too cold. And we were told they didn’t have extra blankets. The shower did not drain on its own. We had to sweep to water toward the drain.

Close to what you came for
When booking this hotel I thought I was booking another one, but this turned out well. Actually, in an ancient town this property is “new” and nicely done. Breakfast the usual foods Walk 300 ft to the square on which the castle lies (and what a castle it is). Be forwarned-the hotel is about 150 ft in from easy access, so your choice-pull luggage or drive in, drop, and back out of a narrow street, which I did.

Happy spot in Olite
A lovely hotel with one of the best showers ever! (Lots of room, multiple jets...) Very helpful and friendly staff. Parking on-site, but I was a bit frightened of the tight corners, so found free on-street parking close by. Great place to stay.

Great location in Olite
We stayed at La Joyosa Guarda during a short visit to Olite. The hotel is very close to the center and thus easy to get anywhere by foot. Getting to the hotel with a large car was challenging, but this is normal for small towns in Spain. We stayed in a junior suite. The room was big enough for them to provide 2 extra beds for the kids and we effectively had 2 separate rooms in the end. The staff was friendly and the hotel clean and modern.

Pleasant hotel in village centre
Lovely medivael village, just an overnight stay for us , and hotel staff were very friendly and spoke a little English which helped a lot. Bathroom s whilst initial thoughts were smart looked a little tired but hotel was worth the money , would go back

Parking in the car park was an experience - ten minutes to manoeuvre in - not recommended for larger cars or 4x4's. No breakfast before 8.30am a problem for anyone travelling on elsewhere and wanting to start early. The suite was bizarre, a very strange shape meet our needs but was not very "comfortable".

Had a bit of trouble finding the hotel but it was absolutely lovely! The staff were very helpful and the room beautiful and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel with AC
Had a 2 night stay during Pamplona San Fermin festival. Good location away from Pamplona. Lots of places to eat in town. Hotel felt brand new.

Nous avons passé une nuit étape dans cet hotel. L'hotel est très bien situé et joliment rénové (ancienne batisse). La chambre est très spacieuse et confortable. Le plus : il y a un parking privé souterrain au tarif de 10€/jour Le petit déjeuner est correcte mais sans plus.

Au coeur d'Olite
Nous connaissons Olite depuis des années. A chaque étape dans cette petite cité médiévale, nous résidons dans un hôtel au coeur de la vieille ville. Il faut admettre que d'y circuler en voiture y est plutôt compliqué, et le stationnement est préférable en dehors de la cité, le mieux étant de visiter à pied. L'hôtel, vieille bâtisse à quelques pas de la place centrale et du château, est restaurée avec un style de bon goût et offre un confort très satisfaisant. Notre chambre (304), au dernier étage avec une petite fenêtre sur la vieille rue, et un velux à commande électrique est très spacieuse, et dispose d'une salle de bain et d'une douche gigantesque. Le restaurant de l'hôtel "El Rincón de la Joyosa", bien qu'en pleines fêtes traditionnelle offre quelques plats à la carte en dehors du menu spécial de circonstance. Accueil discret mais sympathique. Très bien pour passer une nuit ou deux et visiter Olite.

El hotel está muy bien y es tranquilo. Pero: - Hay muchas horas en las que no hay nadie en recepción, ni siquiera hay horarios fijos según el día así que no sabes lo que te vas a encontrar. Decían que estaban hasta las 21, pero de todos los días solo uno se cumplió. De hecho, un día preguntando, nos dijeron mañana estaremos hasta las 21, pero se fueron a las 16. - El restaurante idem: Unos días abre para cenar y otros no, pero no tiene horario fijo. Había un cartel que decía abierto hasta las 23, pero quisimos entrar a las 21:30 y nos dijeron que ya cerraban. Por lo demás, la habitación inicial que nos dieron era abuhardillada, sin luz, y por teléfono- ya que no había nadie en recepción para el check-in- nos dijeron que ellos no sabían cómo eran las habitaciones libres para cambiarla. Tuvimos que esperar al día siguiente. Eso sí, al día siguiente el personal, muy amable, nos ofreció una buena alternativa. El personal de recepción, cuando está, es muy amable y profesional. Habitaciones muy cuidadas, renovadas y mucha limpieza. No probamos el desayuno. Tranquilidad, en pleno casco histórico de Olite. Hotel con mucho encanto, pero necesita mejorar ciertos aspectos.

Excelente hotel en pleno centro de Olite.
Muy buen hotel, decoración y amplitud de la habitación y resto de hotel excelente. La ducha es tipo romano con hidromasaje lo cual fue una grata sorpresa, parecía un spa. Aparcamos en las inmediaciones que no hacía falta ticket ni nada. Desayuno por 6,5 muy completo para el precio. Personal amable. La única pega es que la ventana no me parecía insonorizada y los ruidos de la calle se notan bastante, si bien suele ser silenciosa esta calle, escuchamos un par de coches y las voces de los que salieron del restaurante. Si cambian eso sería el hotel perfecto
