Lovely resort, friendly staff
An oasis in the parched landscape of Naxos. We felt very relaxed here. Staff were super-friendly and great with the kids. Two pool areas meant we didn't need to worry about our noisy, splashy kids disturbing others. Evening swimming with pool lights was ace. 10 mins walk to average beach and 10 mins to 4 different restaurants, one excellent. Summerland's restaurant served a wide ranging good breakfast and a near-perfect club sandwich for lunch. Apartment was fairly basic but clean fresh linen daily and cleaner was lovely, even finding us outside to return a missing toy! Family run place with friendly, relaxed owner living in. He runs a tight ship though - staff are kept on their toes! We'll be back one day soon for sure.

Hotel owner was very friendly and welcoming and the rooms were fantastic- well worth a visit! Perhaps the only let down was the breakfast which was a little disappointing. Other than that we highly recommend hotel!

Relaxing family holiday
The staff were amazing & couldn't help us enough & immediately made us feel welcome even with our lively young boys. The food was incredible, all home made & great value. There was a shallow pool for our 2yr old & 2 deeper pools for our 5yr old so it was perfect. We felt so relaxed which isn't always easy on a family holiday. Good value for money, however a very quiet village
This hotel is in a pretty good shape, however it may need a renovation soon. It has two large swimming pools, a lot of space, a restaurant and a very nice staff. It is good for vacations with kids - but it is quite far from the main cities of the island (it is recommended to rent a car). Few options to go out at night in Kastraki - one of them is very recommended - Kastraki Paradise restaurant on the beach, few minutes' walking from the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Summerland. The staff, led by Yanis, are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. The cook is first class and although not originally intending to, we ate their 3 out of our 4 nights. The location is a little remote and a car is a must given that buses seemed a bit haphazard (in June), but Summerland more than makes up for it with its superb pools and hot tub. Our room was rustic, spacious and well equipped and the bed was really comfy.

Great little hotel! We were there in early September, so it was the off season and not too many other guests there. The pools were very good and the hot tub was pretty nice when it cooled down. We went to Naxos to avoid the touristy areas and we found this place very relaxing. It is far from town and has cows and goats right next door, but this felt more like the Greece I was expecting, rather than Mykonos or Santorini. The free breakfast was very good, as was the restaurant for dinner. However, you'll have to drive to find other places to eat. We really enjoyed the taverna just down the road with all local foods. We took a taxi to the hotel to find it (about 30 minutes from port) and then the next day, Yanis helped us get a great rental car delivered. The whole island really needs a rental car to just drive around. There's a nice little beach down the road from here and Plaka Beach (our favorite in Greece) wasn't too far. The room was very clean and the entire hotel staff were wonderful. My only complaint was the bed was too hard and it would have been nice to have wine glasses in our room enjoy wine on our cute little balcony.

Our first time in Naxos, was made perfect by our stay in Summerland and exceptional service provided by Jannice the owner who welcome us and up grade our room to the Honey suite........room was spotlessly, spacious and all the staff were very friendly and forthcoming. This hotel is a little jewel in the middle of nowhere few minutes from the beach IF YOU WANT TO RELAX AND BE PAMPER this is the place highly recommended. June 2012

Summerland Resort Naxos
If you are looking for a beautiful, inexpensive vacation place on Naxos, this is the place. Two pools, beach 300 meters away, friendly service, relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Good food, cocktails, wines surrounded by countryside. Fresh vegetables. Tavernas nearby. We loved it and don't understand the bad review from someone. Jannis was very helpful.

Hôtel incroyable
Excellente expérience dans cet hotel. Le gérant nous a accueilli chaleureusement et avec soin. Il s’est montré disponible tous le long de notre séjour en sachant nous renseigner dès que besoin. L’hôtel est propre et rénové, les chambres sont spacieuses et la décoration est choisie avec gout. Le lit est incroyable. Il y a 2 piscines tres sympathique et assez de transats pour tous le monde. Le pdj est de qualite avec pas mal de nourriture faite maison. A savoir, il t a une supérette à 5 mn à pied, a cote de la plage, pour satisfaire toutes vos envies. Le rapport qualité prix est imbattable sur les iles des cyclades. Profitez en vite avant que ce lieu ne soit pris d’assaut par des hordes de touristes!

un petit paradis
Superbe séjour de 3 nuits... c'est un bel endroit loin de la grande ville mais très bien situé pour rayonner dans l'ile. il faut bien sur être motorisé mais vu la grandeur de l'ile c'est obligatoire. des bungalows autour de 2 piscines et patio arboré. l'accueil et le service sont impeccables...le petit déjeuner copieux... possibilité de manger le soir sur réservation... l'ile de Naxos est magnifique et Summerland holiday's resort is the place to be :-)

Séjour très agréable dans un très beau décor.
Très beau complexe hôtelier avec deux superbes piscines. on se croirait dans un petit village. Les chambres sont spacieuses et avec terrasse. Le petit déjeuner est varié. Le dîner sous forme de buffet est un peu cher( pas de dessert et boisson non comprises). Idéal en famille. Par contre il faut être motorisé.

Wir hatten ein schönes großes Appartement mit Blick auf den Pool. Es ist eine schöne Anlage, familiär und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Auch das Essen im Restaurant war lecker.

Very Big room, nice hotel, nice people, very close from the beach, very quiet, perfect for family. You should go there ! It is better to rent a car to visit the island from this hotel.

FUYEZ CET HOTEL !
A FUIR ABSOLUMENT ! un véritable arnaqueur tient cet hotel en pratiquant un overbooking scandaleux ! Nous avions réservé une belle chambre comme le sîte nous les présente......et nous avons eu droit à une ''chambre indigne et vétuste année 70 jamais refaîte'' occupée d'ordinaire par ses employées !! Une honte !! la raison invoquée: HOTELS.COM a commis une erreur dans la réservation ! De plus il a essayé dans un premier temps de nous envoyer dans une'' dépendance'' en dehors de l' hotel ( 300m), donc sans l'accés piscine, qui était un véritable squat insalubre et répugnant. Devant notre refus et après des négociations interminables, il nous a donné cette chambre indigne et totalement inconfortable en nous promettant que si une chambre normale se libérait, elle serait pour nous, barratin, nous avions réservé 4 nuits, nous avons passé 2 nuits dans ce taudis remplis d'insectes !! A FUIR

Rustig gelegen hotel met zeer behulpzaam personeel. Om ten volle van het eiland te genieten is een auto wel nodig. Toffe wandelingen gedaan (merendeel voorzien van wegwijzers). De eigenaar zorgde elke avond voor een culinaire verrassing (mogelijk omdat we de eerste en enige klanten waren op dat ogenblik).

very nice hotel-resort!
Summerland resort is near kastraki beach about 20 min (by car) from the port(chora). It is located in a very quite and peacefull environment and has excellent pool facilities.The staff is very helpfull and friendly and food is high quality(great breakfast). The only bad things were the hard bed and the soundproofing. A very good hotel choice overall especially for families with children!

Litt avsides beliggenhet, det bør anbefales å leie bil allerede ved ankomst til Naxos by. Hyggelig "barnehotell" med flott basseng og sandstrand bare noen minutter unna hotellet. Kunne godt tilby gratis henting i Naxos havn / flyplass for å lokke flere gjester...

Das Hotel liegt südlich von Naxos, ziemlich abgelegen. Wer genug hat von 5 Sternhotels, trotzdem einen gewissen Standard haben will und gerne die Ruhe sucht ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Der Besitzer kümmert sich sehr um das Wohlbefinden seine Gäste. Der Strand ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Man ist beinahe allein. Sonnenschirme und Liegen werden gratis zur Verfügung gestellt. Am Strand hat es eine Taverne und einen Laden. Fazit: Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen!

Nice Quiet hotell whith great food and a beautifull pool area! Serviceminded and very nice crew! Vi ble litt bekymra når vi skjønte hvor langt utenfor Naxos by dette hotellet befant seg, men med leiebil er dette et kjempefint utgangspunkt for å oppleve Naxos! Hotellet i seg selv er det lite å utsette på.. Bra romstandard og veldig smakfullt hotellområde med et mindre og et stort basseng! Mange små sittegrupper og hengekøyer rundt omkring hvor man kan slappe av i skyggen med en god bok. Vil også nevne resturanten på hotellet som holder meget høy standard! Anbefaler spesielt grill tallerken for 2! Det var nok den største gastronomiske opplevelsen vi hadde på årets Hellas tur!

We was on vacation on naxos, and stayed at summerland for 3 days. The service there was fantastic, and the food as well. The hotel is located in a quiet place outside naxos town, and is a perfect place for those who like too relax and have a quiet vacation. The beach is only 150 meters from the hotel, and it's as quiet as the hotel. I would like to thank for a wounderful stay at the hotel, and for the fantastic service we got there.
