Loved staying here as family vacation. The interior was lovely, the food was really good, I loved all the little details about the place. If the weather was better it would’ve been even better but I think cooler weather made it more quiet.

A beautiful property surrounded by nature. We enjoyed the hot tub and swam in the huge pool. The room was very well appointed and comfortable.

We have stayed at the Lied Lodge at least one time a year for the last 20 years and we love the ambiance that is there. It is a beautiful property, and the staff is always so kind. Dining at the lodge is not so great, but decent enough. The views are gorgeous.

My family and I have been coming to the Lied Lodge for over 25 years. We love it. It's our getaway from Lincoln -- one of our absolute favorite places on earth. The dining options this past visit, though, were a huge disappointment. I've never seen such a 'meat-centric' menu, and for a vegetarian/vegan like myself, there was hardly ANYTHING to choose from. Also, the Timber Room used to spotlight 'Local Foods' it had sourced. We saw no evidence on the menu that the Lied Lodge is still seeking to source local products... And promoting all that meat (rather than plant-based dishes) was a shock (as well as well as a disappointment). We love the Arbor Day Foundation for its emphasis on the environment and sustainability. The dining options need to reflect that sensitivity (as it has in the past and hopefully will again soon). Thank you.

Beautiful lodge. Rooms were nice. Closet space was lacking because of how the closet was organized. Walls were pretty thin, we could hear neighbors pretty easily. Housekeeping was pretty loud around 8:30 am.

We enjoyed the walking path from the lodge to the Tree Adventure venue. It was attractive even in the winter. We even saw about 4 deer on the way back in the trees.

Place looks great. Staff is nice. If you seek a quiet, peaceful experience, avoid this place. Poor noise reducing insulation. You will clearly hear kids in the pool, neighbors talking and tv in adjoining rooms, talking and kids running up/down the hallway.

A very beautiful area and lodge. The lodge was quiet and staff pleasant . The Timber dinning was delicious also with courteous staff. The dinner dining was upscale as far as presentation and taste.

Tree identification was unique. I was sorry we didn't have time for the "Tree Adventure". Pool area was very nice! Room bathrooms could have been bigger; more clothes hooks would have been nice.

This property is a beautiful getaway. Unfortunately, they denied us initially because their system made our Expedia reservation for the wrong day. After some frustration, we showed them our Expedia reservation, and they found us a room. After checking into the room, we found it was right next to the elevator, and the dinging was non-stop. We asked to be moved and finally settled in an excellent room away from the elevator.
