Gorgeous beach and Beautiful sunsetsPosted Dec 1, 2013
First time at Coco LaPalm and I enjoyed my stay very much. The standard room is just that....standard but served it's purpose. Was always clean but not sure my housekeeper was...never saw them. Will look into a deluxe or suite the next time to enjoy a beachfront view. I ate at the restaurant for dinner once, and breakfast most days. The steamed snapper became me and my friends favorite for breakfast....a must try. The bar for happy hour in the evenings was great, Vernon the bartender was amazing. The entertainment was fun to watch. The beach was stunning! Loved having the trees to lie under for shade and the sunsets were picture perfect. Security guards Gordon & Gibson were very professional and friendly. Glad to have them around to keep the vendors away if you didnt want to buy anything. The beach grill a bit expensive.... but food was acceptable. My biggest complaint would have to be the WiFi. Had to keep logging back in when I got a signal and it didn't work in room....unacceptable. Overall my stay was pleasant and will definitely stay again.

Negril beach and peoplePosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: The staff and the other visitors were fun to be around. All were in a good mood.
Location: The beach is great, one of the best for all round experience.
My twenty six year old son and his old father had a great experience in Negril. I would bring more family with me the next time. The people are friendly and helpful and exude the spirit of hospitality. We had ten days at Coca La Palm and every day was different and fun. The weather was exceptional as well as the staff.

I Keep Coming BackPosted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: On this trip, there were six of us, and the hotel accomodated us in superb fashion, as always. The food was excellent, the service professional and p
Cons: We just happened to be there at the same time as the owners, and suggested they had a foot bar at the bar, and improve wifi connectivity.
Location: We went parasailing, and some of us jet skiied every day. There is great food at the resort and right across the street.
I have stayed at Coco La Palm for the past five years, and it keeps getting better.

Nice, clean and economical hotel directly on beachPosted Oct 10, 2013
Pros: Location that is directly on the Negril beach.
The hotel is nice and clean. It is directly on the beach. We got a very good deal through Expedia.

Best location on the 7 mile!Posted Oct 6, 2013
Location: Nightlife is within walking distance (about one or two city blocks depending which way you are going). We did walked to downtown once, about 20 min wa
We traveled the last week of September 2013 and we had the whole beach to ourselves! Hardly any tourists, loved every minute of it, the whole beach to ourselves and awesome staff. Bad time for nightlife since there's no one there but we didn't care much for it since we were there for the beach. The hotel is modest but comfortable, if you want a luxury hotel this is not for you, but if all you care is about beach front and location then this is it, plus we really enjoyed the free continental breakfast served to you out doors and beach front, best view every morning, we loved it! We also enjoyed the fact that most hotels including this one had a security guard which was there mainly to make sure that vendors did not harass you which it was nice so we could just relax and enjoy the view.

Easy access to the beachPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: The rooms where very private. The landscaping and the overall architeture of the resort was nice.
Cons: need microwaves, better wifi, it should be more inclusive.. no deposit money for stuff like a t.v. remote
Location: jet skiing, para sailing, snorkeling, live bands along the beach, fresh fruits and vegetables sold by various vendors
There were no microwaves in the rooms, the television was very outdated, but other guest had better quality of T.V's beds and linens, it was almost as if I was second class. Nothing was inclusive, so I felt fee'd to death, even to the point of having to leave a deposit for the remote to the TV, they said there was free wifi, it only worked sometimes from the restaurant. The food was not very good, I had to return two meals because of very poor preparation.

Great as usual!Posted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: Everything is great!!
Cons: Improvements are not needed...
Location: Best in the West Jerk Chicken Hut across the street, Margaritaville 5 min walk, Sweet Spice 7 min drive, Shops 15 min walk, Rick's 10 min drive
Just left from CoCoLaPalm and we miss it dearly. We can not wait until our visit next year. This is our second home and the staff does a great job making us feel like it... Respect! The grounds are safe and secure, No Problem Mon! Maintenance crews are on the job daily, rooms are nice, food is good, security is great, the beach view is perfect, proximity to everything. What more could you ask for in a resort. After visiting Negril several of times the worst thing to do is stay all inclusive, so much great food and culture are missed because of. CoCo is the best of both worlds the feeling of an all inclusive minus the included food and drinks. Drinks at the resort are reasonable and the bartenders are great. If you do not want to leave the hotel fresh food comes to you along the beach, everything from fresh fruit, beef patties, nuts and even lobster(which is great! I only can vouch for Patrick, after years of buying from him, its trust). I have never personally met anyone that has not liked the resort, all guest have been fun and friendly... smiles everywhere. Also, Donovans crafts are great, he is located on the resort, beachside. Once again this is an experience like no other and we can not wait to have another!
