Resort is great for the money!Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: Not a lot of rooms, and in the middle of the seven mile beach.
Cons: Get a mini bar on the garden side, where the pool is located.
Location: In the middle of the seven mile beach in Negril. Many things to see and do along the beach.
We stayed on the garden side. Very quiet, clean rooms. Down side we had to cross over to the beach side for the beach, food, and drinks.

Great BeachPosted Mar 18, 2015
Cons: The food definitely needs improvement. Very dry and over cooked. I was looking forward to fresh local produce and felt as though most was imported.
Location: This was in the middle of the 7 mile beach, plenty of options along the beach. The hotel does not include much for activities.
Based on the beach I would recommend this hotel. The food left much to be desired,we had much better off site. While the majority of the staff was very pleasant, and willing to help, there were a couple of the bar staff that definitely showed preference to those who were returning customers.(they are recognized by a different colored wrist band.) The rooms were somewhat clean, I would expect more from an all inclusive. If you like hard beds, you will love theirs.

Nice small resort on the Beach.Posted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: Not like the big resorts. Staff was like family. They really cared about our vacation.
Location: Ricks cafe about 30 minutes away. Shopping was a 10 minute walk to Tower mall.
Beautiful setting. Very warm staff. Food was good but not fancy. By the end of our stay we Knew everyone staying there.

beautiful beachPosted Feb 17, 2015
my hubby and i stayed at grandpineapple from feb 12 to 15, 2015.. i must say that we got what we paid for... our room was clean but outdated, most staff were nice and friendly, everybody was helpful but the food was BLAND and not much choices esp the fruit and pastry section... we were in the garden side of the resort and the part that i didn't like was that we had to cross the street to get to the other part of the resort where the beach, buffet and bar was located.. they didn't have room service so you better remember to bring/get everything you need from the bar and/or buffet because it was a bit of a walk... other than the stuff above... BEACH WAS GORGEOUS!
