“Great Small Resort”

This resort was exactly what we were looking for. Very small and not fancy. Staff made us feel extra special. Rooms were clean and efficient but very practical. Could have used a bar near the pool. We didn't realize that Beach side was on the beach and garden side rooms were across the street. Kind of a hassle to cross the road but security made it an easy thing to do.

“Cozy :)”

Very friendly, almost family size hotel. Only negative is the internet connection which you have to pay for!

“Best Vacation Ever!!”

This was my 2nd time visiting Jamaica, and I love Grand Pineapple. My first visit, I stayed at one of the larger, modern resorts, but enjoyed my stay very much this time because the resort is small, beautiful beach, and wonderful people. The hotel staff are so friendly and welcoming. You will not want to leave. I just returned home on July 14th, and I'm already trying to plan my next visit, but unfortunately, the hotel is booked for the next 6 months. :(

“The best place to stay in Negril!”

The staff was friiendly and provided excellent service. The garden room we had was a bit noisy because we were by the road and not the garden. The road to cross to the main area was a pain sometimes but the guards made it easy by helping out with the traffic. The guards made you feel secure and made sure you were protected when the beach peddlers got pushy. The bar and dining staff was excellent and worked extra hard to please. The beach and the ocean were the prettiest that I have ever seen. I can't wait to go back as soon as possible.

“Good place for couples on a budget”

We liked it. The staff works hard and made us feel welcome. Shavon the lifeguard, the bartenders, and the security personnel were especially good to us. The food had a different theme every day which we appreciated. The only bad thing we can say is we had asked for a king bed and they only had doubles available and the beds were too hard.

“Grand Pineapple”

The Grand Pineapple was an overall nice experience. The food was delicious with fresh fruit, vegetables and fish served each meal. I did not tire of the buffett selections during our one week stay. The staff was professional and friendly and are constantly working to keep the resort appealing. It should be noted that the location of this resort is adjacent to night clubs so it is noisy till about 2 am--but the upside to that is you are located in an area that is walking distance to other activities. The beach was beautiful. Enjoyed our stay in Jamaica!

“Great manager”

We recently stayed at the Grand Pineapple Negril in Jamaica and the staff was always very attentive, since it is small they remember their guests, always making sure one is enjoying the vacation. The Manager Mr. Alexander was extremely helpful.

“could do better”

not enough bartenders at the bar, only one - means waiting too long for a drink. Limited options for cocktails made with fruit. Not enough housekeeping staff - takes until late afternoon for your room to be cleaned. Rooms on the small side. No real oceanview as advertised - mostly obscured by trees, buildings. Pool located across the street from everything else - not advertised this way. To get a drink you have to walk a distance across a busy street (although they cross you) and by the time you get to the pool, you don't want it. Sign at pool call for drinks, they don't come. Food good, not great - would have liked real jerk chicken which I did not find - could have missed it if it was for dinner one night. Elsewhere it was always available. Their jerk pork was tough. I would not return to this hotel.

“Very expensive for the quality !!”

Very old, low quality furniture in the room. Old paint touched up too many times. Low water pressure at the bathroom faucet and you can’t tell the color of the grout between the floor tails. The food was good but was the same almost every day and not too much to choose from. I could see that the staff was trying to do their best but this cannot replace the lack of interest, of the resort ownership, for the guests comfort.
