“Hotel needs update”

Wonderful hotel but aged. Could use some desperately needed updates.

“Hedo II, we'll be back!”

Read a lot about the hotel before we went and it met and exceeded our expectations. There were hotel staff members around every corner and all were willing to help or just talk if you wanted. We had a blast. The food was good as well as the drinks. There were activities going on most of the day. The hotel has a nude side and a prude side, you can participate at any level you want with no problems. We WILL be going back.

Area recommendations
We spent the whole week at the hotel and had plenty to do. We left for about 2 hours one day to go shopping in Negril.

“Hedo Is Special”

If you are looking for luxurious accomodations, grounds and service - pass on this hotel. The allure is in the other guests and the freedom allowed here to bare it all or not. The facilities are dated and on this last trip the staff was lackluster at best and very rude and unreponsive at worst. Forgiveable if you here for the environment and freedom. If you uncomfortable with nudity - don't arrange a trip here. If you are comfortable in your own skin, you will love it.

“will not come back”

when I booked this trip, I read others reviews and thought we would give it a shot. When booking on expedia, it gave us an option between smoking and non-smoking rooms. We are smokers so of course chose a smoking room, only to find out when we get the resort, no such thing exists. Our bathroom flooded, although was given another room. The hot tub was "cold" the whole time there, almost everything is under construction, and very rundown. the food was not that good. I was disappointed that there was no dance music before 10:30.

“Funnest Vacation Ever”

this was absolute on of the best vacation ever! I had sooo much fun. 1. The rooms was okay, noit luxury accomodations, but clean and comfortable enough. You probably won;t be spending much time in the room anyway! 2. The beach was clean and always had enough lounge chairs and towels. 3. The food is so-so, but the jerk chicken at the beach grill is great. 4. The front desk staff was welcoming and check in was a breeze. 5. The entertainers worled hard to entertain everuine, was quite fun and friendly. 6. The theme nights was fun as well - be sure to bring costumes! 7. The piano bar is a just see and the night club was a good time, but hit or miss on closing time. 8. if you're shy leave your inhibitions behind. I didn't go to the nude beach, but there is nudity all over the resort, so if that offends you, you might want to stay across the street at Grand Breezes. 9. The other guests were friendly and fun tpo hang out with - it was like alittle village. 10. I highly recommend the resort for fun, good time and a memorable experience. 11. I can almost guarantee you, you will want to go back. I am already planning my next visit this summer!

Area recommendations
Get the hotel to get a taxi for you to go to Margaritaville and any other attractions you might want to see.
Getting there
Use the Superclubs shuttle at the airport - it's free for guests.
What to pack
Swimwear, shorts & tees and costumes and a camera
Must see
Dolphin's Cove - you can swim with them Rick's Cafe for cliff diving
Nightlife
The piano bar and nightclub are great
Events and shows
The entertainers put on a show every night - all of them were enjoyable.
Outdoors or beach
The prude beach is small and uncrowded - not so for the nude beach.

“Quality of hotel degrading in last 5 yrs”

The only thing that has ever kept us coming back year after year was the beach, absolutely love the beach!! The service and atmosphere of the hotel has gone down hill. The staff doesn't smile as much and sometimes makes you feel like your being put out. The housekeeping staff is awesome. The quality of quantity of the food is going down hill. Also we are nudist not swingers and feel like we can't even be friendly to other couples because of the pressure of hitting the sack with their husband/wife. We finally decided this would be our last year. We visited Breezes next door and are very excited to stay there next year!

“Fun in the Sun”

Have stayed at Hedo II several times over the past few years. The condition of the rooms are passable but nothing to brag about. Little things need fixing, shower leaks, slow sink draining, curtains don't function properly, etc. Nothing major, but things that other resorts would resolve. The rooms could use some major remodeling. Would love to have the oceanview rooms be revamped to be beach walkouts, similar to Hedo III.

“Hedonism II is unlike any other resort”

The resort, the pools, the buffet and restaurants, the tennis courts, the hot tub, the entertainment staff and the bars were all great. Have a Hummngbird, a Dirty Banana or a Mudslide. Or even a body shot. Maybe you should bring your own Whipahol. If you don't have a good time here you maybe oughta' check your pulse. . We went into the town of Negril several times. The people were all friendly and welcoming. There's a market for souvenirs just across the street from the hotel if you don't want to venture out too far.

“Hedonism is a blast!”

If you are looking for spring break for adults, with as much fun as you can imagine, this is the place to go. If you are shy about nudity, this is not a good fit for you as you will be exposed to lots of nudity or possibly semi nude attire at all hours. The hotel grounds and staff are exceptional, but the rooms are lacking in updates and need to be renovated. You are not coming here to stay locked in your room though! Just let your inner party animal come out and go with the flow!
