Nice PlacePosted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Plenty of hot water and water pressure.
Location: The beach....miles of it! Plenty of small cafes, local venders, live music, etc.
We had a very nice stay at Rondel....would definitely return.

Friendly staffPosted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: The staff. The facility is well kept and clean.
Location: Everything Negril has to offer is nearby, since the hotel is near the middle of the 7 mile beach.
We enjoyed our stay at Rondel. The stay was made even better by the friendliness of the staff, they are good people. The hotel is kept in a clean and orderly state. This is certainly a good place for families and couples looking for a quiet place to rest. The staff was always will to assist, even if the request were for delicious restaurants that the locals frequent. Thank you Hugh!

Best small hotel in NegrilPosted Mar 27, 2014
Pros: Rooms themselves are large, balconies are large, greenery is beautiful, everything is clean, family owned and got to know the owners who really care.
Cons: Negril must deal with the excessively aggressive beach sellers. I'm a very tolerant person, but after 3 days stopped trying to be nice - ignored them
Location: Go up to the cliffs - dinner at The Push Cart was excellent - of course go to Rick's just 'cause. Walk the beach. Relax.
My husband, 13 year old daughter and I just returned from 9 days in Negril. We got off to a rocky start but everything was smoothed out the next day and then everything was wonderful. (The front desk tried to charge us extra for our daughter after purchasing a package on expedia which clearly covered her - then we were given the worst room in the hotel facing the road - We stood our ground and the manager the next day backed down; we also requested a room change and was moved to a fabulous room overlooking the pool with an ocean view.) Bar right on the beach was excellent (shout out to Delroy and Desmond). Restaurant right next door also very good - lower/middle price with excellent food. Central courtyard beach area had lots of shade and sun and removed you from the disturbingly aggressive sellers that walk the beach constantly all day. Pool was a good size and again, beautiful and clean. Everything was beautiful and clean - the rooms, the grounds with tons of greenery, and the huge balconies. The ocean is soft and warm with small waves and little undertow - the beach itself is long and clean and white. The people are warm and welcoming. If you go to Negril stay at Rondel Village and only if that's full, the Coco La Palm. None of the rest even come close.

Great hotel on the BeachPosted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: The staff was exceptional.....especially Hugh and Carl!!! They where down to earth "yo mon" guardian angels!
Cons: Check in and out was slow.
We stayed here for 7 days and everything (except our 1st room) was great. The first room they put us in was called Mango. The blinds wouldn't open and the only windows that opened was a small bathroom window. The next day we where able to move and the second room was great. The pools where spotless and the hot tub was HOT, perfect!! Enjoyed the food and prices where very fair!!

Best location and experience for your money!Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: The best things at the hotel were the location, security, and lush gardens.
Cons: We would improve upon the strength of the Wi-Fi signal
Location: The location was in the middle of Seven Mile so we could walk in each direction each day. Plenty of places to eat along the street and beach.
We chose not to do an all-inclusive this time and were extremely pleased. We picked the best hotel that was centrally located along Seven Mile Beach. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating and the security was the best on the beach. The perfect water and weather certainly didn't hurt our experience either!

the room was awesome. location was great and the sPosted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: i liked everything about the hotel. the staff as well as the tourists staying there were all great. all the buildings were white with beautiful stairs
Cons: well i wish the bar would stay open a bit longer instead of after ten having to venture out to find entertainment somewhere else. the bar could bigger
Location: location is awesome . jungle night club next door. boatbar next door always live music there park nearby with food vendors and little local shops grea
i stayed on the garden side of this resort which was practically brand new. everything was well maintained and the pool and hottub were very nice and used constantly. i was on the third floor which provided a great view and my balcony faced the back which provided me with privacy and a view of the lush jungle vegetation. i got both worlds of being in a five star resort but yet felt like i was still close to the natural beauty of jamaica. if you wanted some excitement the jungle nightclub was right next door. leaving at night was so safe because i walked out the front door and walked into my resort. security at night was on guard and nothing got past them day or night. there is traffic lights to cross the street to the beach which was also great. the location of this resort is great because all the bars and food vendors and convenience stores are all within walking distance. the beach in negril is second to none aqnd this resort has a great beach as well. you can sit on the beach chairs right along the beach or can can sit on them behind the decorative enclosure if you want a little more privacy. the bar staff was great and the restaurant food was always good. and service was faster than other resorts i was at. inside the room awesome. leather recliner flat screen tv cd player hair dryer ironing board and iron two section bathroom inroom safe king size bed and patio windows and doors on two sides of the room. the hottest and most plentiful hot water in jamaica. never ran out.!

Very nice hotelPosted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: We liked the hotel as it was very unlike a standard hotelbuilding. Very private, with lovely balconies and garden (like being in a jungle).
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: The location was great for hanging out on the beach and for swimming. The only thing missing was decent shops (supermarkets and any shops) nearby.
Our trip to Jamaica and stay at the Rondel was just fantastic! Lovely place, the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved the hotel surroundings and garden, which was almost like being in the jungle (we were on the garden side) ! So nice when you arrive from the cold winter in Finland. Would come back to this place and would absolutely recommend this hotel to couples looking for a great relaxing time in Negril. Close to all the beach restaurants. Our hotel room (on the 3rd floor) was nice and clean.
