This was my 2nd stay at Sandy Haven Resort. I was treated like a queen once again. The staff cared for me like family, Breakfast omelets and banana pancakes are outstanding and the lovely waitstaff even more so. As usual, Rohan, Pops, front desk, security, bartender and housekeepers were awesome. Chris is the best chauffer in all of Jamaica. Thank you all for the wonderfully peaceful stay.

Sandy Haven is a nice place to stay on Seven Mile Beach it is conveniently located to many restaurants and other attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms come with a mini fridge which was nice to have. The breakfast which is included is very simple fruit, toast, juice and a muffin. It was very tasty. I would recommend staying at Sandy Haven!

Beautiful property with pristine beach area. Loved our quiet breakfast outside in the morning with the ocean view. Staff was super friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious, though the mattress was thin and firm. The meals at the beach grill and Bongos were great, the barbecue on the beach was OK.

The staff is great. Many thanks to Andre; Chantal; Pops ; Ms Sinclair. The reception staff were very nice. The manager was always trying hard to make sure you were happy. All the staff were good. Can’t remember all the names. Room for improvements but a great time

The staff are excellent. Pops & Sinclair just awesome. Bar staff very good. Chantal in the mornings was always something to look forward to. Managers were good.

We had an ocean view room but there were so many palms in the way that there was no view. Rooms are supposed to have safes but ours had been removed. The front desk was supposed to have a safe for use but they wouldn’t let us use it. Our room was clean and comfortable. Service was great. The beach is beautiful and area felt safe. Walkable to restaurants, bars and grocery.

Hotel has really fallen below standard. Tv did not work and a/c and fan did not work and nobody cared to rectify this for us nor had courtesy to update us on situation. Great shame as used to love staying here but this will be the last time

The hotel is pretty but very very dirty bar. So filthy it smells like feces but it's just that they've never cleaned it. Almost smells like vomit. We mentioned it to them daily and still no one cleaned it. There's also no staff cleaning the beach area so there's trash and towels thrown everywhere that sits there all day, no one clears dishes when you eat. No service on the beach either.

Very dissapointed! Television didn't work & eventually had to be switched out, mini fridge leaked, bathroom was not properly cleaned. The gazebos are nonfunctional, the beach umbrellas are molded and torn. The pool area needs a complete renovation. The property has potential but needs a lot of updating. The staff was friendly & helpful. A special thank you Sinclaire, Enrique & pops.

This was our first time in Jamaica. We loved Sandy Haven. Edward helped us at checkin and he was AMAZING!!! We had a beautiful room and he provided many recommendations for food and entertainment. Doc took our luggage to our room and helped explain Isalnd life. The beautiful ladies that served our breakfast were hard working and very kind. We met many guests that have traveled here for years. They were fun and energetic. Food. Location. Beach. Shops. We will be back. WE LOVED EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE!!!

This property is amazing. The staff is so great. They were there for anything we needed such as setting up taxis, airport transportation, water taxi to ricks cafe. They don’t have water sports on site but they may as well since anything you ask them for like paddle boards or catamarans, they will get them for you Will come back for sure.

Rohan was helpful and upgraded our room which we appreciated and front desk (Edward and forgot the other lady’s name) answered our questions. Property lacks the following: ⁃toothpaste/toothbrush/slippers (basic necessities) ⁃ full length mirror ⁃ Tv and blow dryers did not work ⁃ pool was dirty/wasn’t cleaned frequently ⁃ WiFi could be stronger (took forever to load pages) Overall, the stay was okay but could have been better; definitely had high expectations. Frankly, next door at Coco Palm offered more and had a better vibe/energy (they always had music and always felt lively) and their breakfast was available until 11am (which is something we didn’t have at Sandy and always missed out on the breakfast since it was available until 10am only). The property does require maintenance as it’s a bit old so am hoping the owner takes the above into consideration.

Sandy Haven is my favorite vacation resort in Negril! It is a charming secret that I look forward to vacationing there every year. The hotel is centered on the unmistakable infamous seven-mile beach. The staff, from the fabulous front desk team to the Reservations Manager Rohan, to the ultimate ambassador Pops, to General Manager Dwight, and all of the other hospitality and security staff, each one contributed to making my stay memorable year after year. The team is fantastic and welcoming each visit, so much so that I don't want to leave. They make my vacation wonderful every year! Until next holiday! Cheers!
