This was my second stay at WS. I booked it again when I decided to book my trip to Jamaica as I had good memories of this place which I visited for the first time 2 years ago. The staff is nice and generally efficient, the food at the restaurant is good and the other guests are very friendly and welcoming too. Having said that, I think that WS would need a revamp of small things, such as the bathroom door handle of our room wouldn't work well, no shelf in the bathroom. Also, the deck chairs would need a good cleaning if not replacing. A few of them are mouldy. I think that fixing little things would improve the feeling of the place dramatically. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

I really enjoyed the stay and the room are a great deal within the area. Not an all inclusive so you have to pay extra for all your drinks and meals but it is not too pricy and the offer deals on cocktails. Great beach service and safe cross road help during the busy time. I was in the garden area and was very quiet. Pool was ok but with that sea you won’t really need it !

The property and management and staff work hard to make a welcoming experience. It's only when compared to other more expensive beachside options that you might wish for a little better offerings. The rooms are a bit tired. There is no TV, not important to me but might be to some. Many people here have been coming every year for many years and I can see that appeal because it strikes a balance between affordability and access to the beautiful Negril beach. The Jamaicans are inherently joyful, beautiful people. Sometimes they try a little too hard to separate you from your money. Mostly they are respectful as the tourists are to them. I would come back to white sands but likely not for a while as there's many places to see, unlike most poeple here that will be back next year and the year after that. I would add that many families come here over several generations. For them a home away from home.

There is a safe deposit box at the front desk that is free of charge to all guests. Irons and iron boards are issued at front desk. Some rooms have doors on the closets some to do not. It all depends on the style of the closet.

This is a lovely family owned resort by the beach in Negril . There are two parts - one in the beach and a garden resort . The rooms are basic but very clean and with balcony and fridge . There is a pool in the garden side . The beach side has a great bar and restaurant, which serves excellent food . Beach beds are provided . Staff are very friendly and there is a lovely ambiance to the hotel .

This location was perfect and the staff was amazing especially Ramon the guy that handles the beach chairs, security staff were on top of things. The cleaning staff Nora was amazing and lovely. This was close to everything we needed and west end was just 20 mins drive.

This property was a waste of money. The service is the absolute worst. Simple services takes forever or not done at all. Terrible attitude from the staff. Hardly any amenities. I asked for an iron and there’s only one for the entire property. I asked for a taxi and was completely ignored. The room barely has any lighting. Old outdated furniture. And the air conditioner was a joke. The room has hot and sticky. There was not even a blow dryer in the bathroom. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I wish I could give it no stars but that isn’t possible.

I enjoyed my stay at White Sands Resort in Jamaica. The service was excellent - the staff were all professional and very welcoming. The food was very good with generous portions and reasonable prices. The beach was amazing! I felt safe throughout the property and there was a security guard on the beach so I was comfortable leaving my belongings while I swam.

The cleaning staff is amazing. They clean your room so well. Shower is nice and hot is good. Bar has good food and drinks. The bell man is so good. This is truly a hidden gem.

It was quiet and staff was nice , rooms are dated but the place itself was pretty nice and beach area was the best part of the stay. wish the restaurant didn’t run out of so much stuff on the menu but besides that the food we did eat was good and waiters were very friendly. I would stay again.

White Sands is my number 1 choice in Negril, Jamaica. The property is lovely and it's nice to have a swimming pool option for those days we didn't want to be at the beach. The games area is perfect for a game of pool, ping pong or chill with a book. The staff are wonderful and super helpful.The location is idea to reach the entire 7 Mile Beach. See you next reach ❤

Very clean good spacing in the room. Perfect location close to all food and convenience shopping. There was no tv in the room which made it a bit dull. The cell service was considerably weak the wifi as well but overall good spot would book again
