I stayed here for one night. I was surprised to find that I got a corner room which was bigger than the rest of the rooms on the same floor.
This was delightful given that I booked the room with Expedia rate and was a bit worried about them giving me the less desirable room because of that.
The lobby had high ceiling. The Interior was clean with a fresh look. Staff at the counter were friendly and efficient with my check in and out.
My room was spacious with a king sized bed. Bathroom was nice and updated. The overall feel of the room was similar to that of a room in westin.
I suppose the only downside of this hotel (which can be avoided) is the breakfast. I decided to try it out because my friend was asking me if it's worth it to book the room with breakfast. The cost was $330 Taiwanese dollars including 10 percent service charge. The food selections were few, quality was extremely poor , and empty juice tanks sat unfilled for the duration of the time I was there (about 35 minutes). The guests there like myself carefully picked the items that seemed edible (eg plain rice with some fries, a cup of milk with 1 piece of bread). The male service staff was friendly though.
Other things that may be disappointing to others but not important to me at the time:
- the fitness room smelled strongly of rubber or plastic? I checked it out just to see but was not going to use it anyways.
-the free laundry facilities sat in a dark corner in the parking lot. Lol.
