Great stay. Food & coffee at the restaurant is delicious. It gets very hot in the suite rooms & there’s no air conditioning.

Room was great and plenty of space. My son didn’t want to use the upstairs beds because it was only accessible by ladder. The staff and food were great.

Fantastic stay
What a beautiful part of the world but what a delightful lodge. The rooms were clean and warm and comfortable. The cafe/restaurant was fantastic for both snacks and an amazing dinner. Staff were friendly. Lovely grounds to sit in. Close and easy walk to lake. Highly recommend.

Good but needs some improvements
Nice apartment and great location. Dissappointed they have not upgraded their old TVs to Smart TVs with netflix or Sky. Only a handful of freeview channels. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was nice.

The setting is excellent, nestled in against the bush reserve and adjacent to a stream walkway. The lodge has excellent facilities, especially the spa pool room.

Presentation of the main facilities, dining room all top notch. Staff without exception were approachable, friendly, helpful and cheerful under pressure. Food was well presented, good variety and very tasty. Breakfast was rather expensive, we paid $53 for yoghurt, granola, fruit, tea and coffee.

Best Ever Mountain Lodge in Nelson Lakes
Our first time to Nelson Lakes National Park and our stay at the Alpine Lodge was terrific. The staff was super friendly! They remembered us from the first moment until the end of the stay and made sure our stay was perfect. The food was excellent and the fire always stoked to warm us up after our big hikes. Mt. Robert was beautiful and Parachute Rock along the St. Arnaud Track was spectacular.

Great place to stay after tramping in the Nelson Lakes National Park. The restaurant was great, lovely duck dinner, must have a awesome chef! Rooms are a little dated, but very clean & tidy.
