Hotel experience.Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and staff
Cons: The hotel is being upgraded and does need a full makeover.
Location: Went to the area for a wedding. Good drives, the springs and wineries.
Hotel was old but very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and obliging, Was good value for money.

Pros: Clean bathroom & modern tv
Cons: There were many, pictures on the net suggest an establishment far better than it actually is. Units are plain & dated, surrounds are very ordinary.
Overpriced relative to better quality accommodation in Motueka & elsewhere.

Good value for the moneyPosted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: Laid back, responsive staff, clean, good value, good location--easy drive to Kaiteriteri and Abel Tasman.
Cons: Probably would not recommend as a business traveler motel.
Location: Motueka is a tourist town although the best beach is at Kaiteriteri. Nice to be close, but a bit outside the business district bussle. Family owned/op
We stayed two nights and the room was very clean and comfortable. A little outside the main business district which is fine for Motueka. My spouse enjoyed the pool. There is covered parking and it has a small number of units--not a beheamoth. Staff had great recommendations for dinners; suggested places to meet your budget idea.

I wouldnt recommend this to anyonePosted Feb 4, 2014
Pros: Nothing (except saving grace was it was clean)
Cons: A bulldozer could sort it
Location: Nothing nearby and 2km from town
Old fashioned, bad value for money, 2km from town, untidy grounds, old room, door rotten at the bottom, couldnt even put a cover over the switchboard, no iron or inroning board, microwave looked like it had been there since WW2, an old block building that looked and felt like something out of the sixtys. Even the locals think its bad

Pros: Affordable but certainly not luxurious.
Cons: Dated furniture and horrible dark wood panelling. Very old fashioned.
Facilities: Basic; Value: Cheap; Service: Friendly; Cleanliness: Clean; Close to Kaiterteri and Abel Tasman. Would only use as a basecamp for sightseeing local area.
