Kurzbesuch in Gravenbruch was in sichtnähe liegt aber nur mit dem auto zu erreichen ist.

This was why I went, imagine my disappointment to learn that the SPA is closed until Fall 2015 and the outside of the hotel and front lobby are all under renovation. This was not listed in the description but has now been updated. This will be an awesome place once everything is completed. The food was wonderful, the surroundings are very quite (minus all the construction noise) and beautiful. It's far enough away to be peaceful yet close enough to airport and downtown that it's easy and convenient.

Nice hotel but a long way from Frankfurt center

This hotel is undergoing refurbishments so there is scaffolding everywhere, also the spa is closed as a new one is being built, the hotel overall is very good but we were in room 140 on the ground floor and it was a really long walk from reception. We also asked to be moved as the corridors in this new wing had a damp smell in them. The rooms are superb with heated bathroom floors and everything electrical is touch control. The worst part is the remote location, it is a long way from Frankfurt center and a taxi in traffic could cost 50 Euros each way, best to have a hire car. Food in the restaurant was superb and the waiter who served us was amazing, very funny and helpful. This will be a super hotel when the renovations are complete but the location is the big downside.

Good Hotel Bad Service

We paid for a triple staying room and got 2 person amenities. Even the extra bed was not provided. Service at the reception is kurt, cold and non-accommodating.

Pro Tag wird ein Betrag im Voraus blockiert für den Fall, daß man Extras genommen hat. Unverschämt !!! Sowas gibt es nirgendwo mehr!!! Alles ist sowieso überteuert!!! Aber Personal ist unglaublich professionell und mehr als freundlich. Danke

Zimmerservice

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr gut, allein am Zimmerservice könnte man noch etwas verbessern. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und bemüht, allerdings fehlen anscheinend gewisse Standards, z.B. der Weißwein, den es am Freitag noch gab, war am Samstag nicht mehr verfügbar (Aussage: schon länger nicht mehr im Programm), die Linguini mit Trüffel kamen an einem Tag mit frisch gehobeltem Trüffel am anderen Tag ohne. Einmal war frischer O-Saft beim Gravenbrucher Frühstück dabei, einmal nicht. Der Apfelstrudel kam einmal mit Sahne und Vanillesauce, einmal nur mit Vanillesauce und die Sahne war ein Extra. Wie gesagt, das Personal ist unheimlich freundlich und bringen auch sofort alles nach. Es wäre schön, wenn man sich auf einen gewissen Standard einstellen könnte.
