Not a 4 star hotel
Posted Jan 12, 2012 on Hotels.com
Not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination.Music in hallways can be heard inside the tiny rooms. My room and my colleague's room had a stuffy odor. Otherwise clean but very average. Breakfast was disappointing and certainly not worth Euro 17.

Very pleasant. Staff accommodating. They were unable to give us room keys for the first 2 days we were there (something wrong with machine). Although inconvenient, staff was quick to come to open our doors whenever we needed.

close to mall but fair distance to Frankfurt
Posted Jan 24, 2012 on Hotels.com
It was clean and breakfast buffet was good. The bathroom was small with shower only. There's a mall down the street and local shops in the area. However, I thought it was in Frankfurt when in fact it is about a half hour drive away. It is about a ten minute drive to the airport.

Mercury Hotel Frankfort

For the price I would at least expect a face clothe and a bath towel in the was room. The bed covering only covered half the bed..........

Will stay again next trip

While the Mercure itself was only slightly better than OK as far as rooms go, the location is excellent and the service was outstanding. Hotel Shuttle from FRA would be a nice adition, though nearby bus service is frequent, inexpensive and reasonably quick. Look for Jacques wine shop for a great selection at incredible prices. Close to the hotel, but a little tough to find. Very knowledgeable English speaking staff in what looks like a shack but don't be put off by the external apearance.

Nice Hotel - but some distance from Frankfurt
Posted Jan 17, 2011 on Hotels.com
The hotel was very good - clean - friendly staff and nice accomodation. But if you have to go to Frankfurt, the hotel location is not ideal as it is not near the train station and the cab ride was 20 Euros each way!!! Convenient shopping area nearby. Overall good - but next time I will stay in Frankfurt proper.

Great value for short stay near the airport.

I travel to Frankfurt on business often, I would recommend the Mercure Neu-Isenburg as a very good value for business traveller. However it is best if you have your own car. Location is outside of the citry centre. A 17euro taxi ride or a 15 minute walk to catch a tram to Frankfurt downtown core. The airport is a 15 minute, easy drive from the hotel. Rooms are modern decor, clean and quite spacious. Breakfast is top notch as expected in Germany.

Nice hotel near Frankfurt airport, reasonable rate
Posted Jan 8, 2010 on Hotels.com
My reservation had been prepaid, and included a special deal - breakfast was included in the price. The clerk checked their file and confirmed that was the arrangement. The hotel was a 15 minute drive from the airport. There are three no-cost parking spaces in front of the hotel, and I was able to get one at about 5 p.m. Pay parking was available in an underground lot. There was a self-service car wash about a block from the hotel, so I was able to clean my rental car and avoid any questions about its condition. The hotel is rated at 4 stars, the room was nice and modern, and the breakfast was typical of the nicer hotels. Our two-person room was one of the least expensive of our trip. All in all, a very good experience.

Hotel Mercure, Neu Isenberg
Posted Jan 28, 2010 on Hotels.com
At first sight my wife and I were somewhat disappointed in both the hotel and its location. However, we quickly changed our minds. The hotel is good value for money, has the necessary amenities and its location outside Frankfurt is not a major drawback. Neu Isenberg is a pleasant town in its own right with lots of reasonable restaurants, a large indoor shopping mall, a weekend market and a small "old town". It is also easy to get to Frankfurt by bus or trolley (we did the latter). Since trolleys run until after midnight, timing is not a problem. On this occasion we stayed four nights at the hotel at the beginning and end of a tour. We really liked both Frankfurt and Neu Isenberg and would go back to both places if the opportunity arose.
