The hotel is in a great area - approx 5 minutes walk from the "U bahn" and 10 minutes walk from the "S bahn" which allow you to travel all over Munich. There is a small supermarket less than 5 mins away and plenty of restaurants nearby.
The room itself was immaculate and modern with a lovely shower and very comfortable bed.
The staff on the reception desk and the cleaners were helpful and polite.
There is also a free gym and sauna, both of which were very clean.
A slight downside was that we paid for a comfort room but were actually given a standard room. Even so, I was very happy with the price we paid for the room we recieved so this wasn't an issue.

I'm now 65, and I travel once a year to Germany. This hotel was easy to find, convenient to public transportation, and exactly as promised in the Expedia listing. I particularly liked the kitchenette because I like to have light morning and evening meals in the room, and with an Edeka around the corner, shopping was also convenient. One review I read complained about the small bathroom, but because it was clean, functional, and well supplied, the size was not a problem for me. It was efficent, comfortable, and immaculate. Last visit to Munich I stayed at leonardo hotel on the other side of town. Ghotel was by far the better place for me. My ground floor room at the Leonardo had zero soundproofing, and hordes of smoking visitors arrived after midnight, yelling and laughing as they slammed doors and discussed their next day's activities. The soundproofinng at Ghotel was perfect and there was no smoking odor coming through the door at night, as at the Leonardo. If I visit Munich again, the Ghotel Nymplenburg will be my choice. 100% satisfied!!

This is a hotel which is definitely worth its price. The staff were friendly and polite. The location is good; 5 stops to get to Central Station on the tram (a stop right outside the hotel). The frequency of the tram is every few minutes. There is also a S Bahn station about 10 - 15 minutes walk from the hotel. From Central Station, you can walk to most places or take the S or U Bahn.
We took a studio and it had a small kitchen included. Everything you expect is inside. The ceiling was fairly high. It was a good size and it felt comfortable. There is a supermarket, other stores and fast food places at the S Bahn station that is close by.
The staff were very helpful. It is a modern hotel worth staying in.

Enjoyed our stay here very much. Out of the city centre but excellent public transport links (eg tram into centre takes 15 mins, runs about every 10 mins) and the hotel reception sells an all day family pass, very handy! We had a suite for our family of 4- the second bedroom is small and it has a double bed rather than 2 singles but it wasn't a problem for our kids (ages 9 & 6) especially as they had a tv in there too! Good buffet breakfast with very friendly waitress. All very clean and comfortable. The mini bar had very reasonably priced drinks eg 1 euro for a coke. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location. Would definitely stay again if in Munich.

The former summer residence of Bavarian royalty, the baroque Palace Nymphenburg is set in a 200-acre park with other stately buildings including the Pagodenburg and Badenburg pavilions, the Magdalenenklause, and the Amalienburg hunting lodge. To the north are Munich’s Botanical Gardens while to the east is the Hirschgarten. Neuhausen is also a smart residential area.
