This hotel has gone downhill
First breakfast was 25 euros for one person which was too expensive for what you get and the service staff were rude and mean. Second the room wasn’t cleaned properly the dirt by the bed on the floor stayed there our entire stay. I moved it to see if they would clean it and they never did. We have stayed at this hotel four times before this was the worst stay so far. It used to be a nice place to stay. We won’t stay here again.

Avoid at all cost
The staff was rude, the room was small and far too hot and there is no air-conditioning control in the room. Also the breakfast is charged 25e, which is more expensive than in the best restaurants in town, but the selection is very poor (scrambled and boiled eggs, a few types of charcouterie and cereals, and basically that's it). Additionally, I have noticed that there is no food for people with dietary restrictions (sugar free, gluten free or similar), which is a standard in most hotels. An absolute rip off! How this hotel is ranked as a 4-star is beyond me! If you are coming to Otto-Hann Ring you probably have a meeting at Siemens or RR, you are far better off staying in an a other hotel closer to the city and taking U-Bahn to the meeting.

Overall the stay was good. However: Room was stifling hot as no air conditioning. Dread to think what the rooms would be like in a 35° plus heatwave. Room service was offered anytime between 8:30 and 11:00, all 3 mornings we stayed, it was offered when we were in the room getting ready which was inconvenient. Can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't get it. €25pp per day was too expensive in our opinion.

Great place and close to train station
It was great. Just to let other American travelers to Munich, that there was: Not a bathtub in the room (shower only) No air conditioner but didn't really need it....the windows open for fresh air. There is not "convenient stores" at all near the hotel. We got food/drinks in the train stations (plenty of options) then brought it back to the room, when it was late at night. Just make sure you bring a bag to put your items in order to carry them easier. Less than a 5 minute walk from Neuperlach Sued train station. Come out the door for "Otto-Hahn-Ring" and you'll find a side walk (with stairs and a ramp) to the right....take that to the end (go passed a Rehabilitation Center and Cyber Center and you'll see the sign for the Hotel) then make a left and hotel entrance is on the left. We enjoyed the staff, they were really friendly and helpful with anything we needed.

Excellent stay. Good location. One gripe - can’t get a coffee in reception. Had to go back to room to make one then take it back to reception. Not helpful when waiting on friends to appear in the lobby. Machine is there, just not allowed to use it!!

Under-staffed and too hot without air conditioning
I contacted the hotel in advance about a baby cot and they replied saying they would put one in our room. It hadn't been prepared when we arrived and the man on duty said he was alone until 10pm and would not be able to go and get it until then. There was a problem with one of the rooms I booked and we were down-graded to a different room, which was fine but it looks like we were charged the same price as the original. I am not sure what the difference was but the man at the desk said he could only refund the parking fee and I it wasn't clear what the price of this other room was meant to be so I can't tell whether that was fair compensation. There is no air conditioning in the rooms. I didn't realize this was such a problem but our room was very hot - too uncomfortable for a decent sleep, unfortunately.

Very accessible, clean, safe.
Great stay for work. The only slight downside was, the room didn't have Aircon and I couldn't fully open the windows. The staff were amazingly attentive and Covid-19 measures were stringent, which made the stay feel safe.

The staff were obsessed with the breakfast. A minimum of three staff members told me that the breakfast wasn't included with my hotel reservation. There was no air conditioning in the building, and the shower was awkwardly small. The hotel has a convenient location, but there are no real amenities.

No air-con and the Breakfast was very expensive for what it was, and quality of cooked food was below par, although the other non-cooked food was high-quality. Parking was also expensive, but underground car park was efficient and easy to use and access. Towels in bathrooms were all very thin and cheap; I stayed two nights and had two sets of towels - both of the same low quality.

The room itself was basic but had everything we needed. Our room was cold as the air conditioning didn’t actually work but was fine to just sleep in for a weekend. 20 min journey into the city via train.

Great Suburb Hotel
I have stayed here three times I love this hotel. The breakfast is fantastic, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are clean. It is also dog friendly, I brought dog here on one occasion. Close to the UBahn to get to the city center, it’s a short 3-5 min walk.

Be careful when parking
We asked at reception were we could park and they instructed us outside .. we parked outside in the road and in the morning was given a parking ticket. When we showed reception they just said you were on the wrong side but neglected to tell us this when parking .. not happy!
