The place was dirty, reeked of cigarette smoke, there was not even a room number sign on our room, the lady pointed to a door and said that was our room. There was plywood covering a opening in the wall, Barking dog a few doors down, we left this place immediately We are now fighting with the hotel for a refund but they are not willing. Do not stay here, it is truly a lousy motel Dennis

Well, you surely had to check that this motel is not pet free nor smoke free. We tried to give you other room and you left as soon as possible without confessing with us, we might have given you a refund. Anyways before going into any motel please check the way you want it to be because you are not the only guest in that motel there are different kind of rooms and people. Have a good one.

I enjoyed my stay at the Mel-Dor Motel in New Berlinville. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable and the setting was very quiet and peaceful. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and hospitable.

The worst motel where I have spent the night. 1 dirty. 2 Strong bad smell of cigarettes and dirty sheets and blankets with hair as well. A nightmare for me and my son.

1st things first, I have never good or bad left any type of feed back but the male receptionist was very rude. Kept complaining about everyone booking on expedia Kept on complaining about American people. My hearing is not great and I had a hard time understanding his accent so he started complaining about not being able to hear him behind a sheet of glass. To top it off he gave me the keys and sent me to the wrong room luckily nothing happened as my son and I was entering the wrong room with the other customer sleeping.

Its absolutely absurd that I had to pay a pet fee, yet I couldnt leave my cat alone in my room. Um......shes a cat. What the hell was I supposed to do with her when I went out? First off, she isnt dirty or destructive. She wasnt going to do anything to the room. Second, she isnt like a dog. Was I going to take her to peoples houses with me? It was also crazy cold out. I couldnt exactly leave her in the car when I went places. I was also talked down to at the front desk about the cat, about not allowing her to pee around the room. Why the hell would I not want my cat to use a litter box? Why is it assumed that because I have a cat she was gling to be gross and that the room was going to be gross? My husband has asthma. We do everything we can to keep the cat hair/scent down as much as possible. Will not be staying here again.

Clean and great price!
This place was very clean & had some updated items, but the bathroom was quite dated. All parts functioned correctly & were clean and there was plenty of hot water. Coffee pot, fridge, and microwave in room..BONUS! The bed was hard but overall was satisfied.

The room was a bit dated, and the walls needed to be painted. Otherwise, the accommodations were adequate. I liked having the refrigerator and being able to park in front of my door. It was nice to have fresh bath towels every day.

Basically what you'd expect for a 2 star motel. A bit dirty, non-smoking room smelled like smoke from a while ago, neighbors were loud after hours. Host was very nice. We picked it because it was 5 minutes away from everywhere we needed to go, so very convenient from that perspective and we didn't spend a ton of time in the room.

If you are Black - Do Not Stay at This Place! No words minced here. This facility is a straight up, effin' dump. Period. And the owners/managers are even worse. No question, if I were a white man (or sub Continental Indian - Hindu especially), I would've received better, if not the very best treatment here. But I'm a Blackman, proudly & unequivocally so, and that was definitely not my experience on the afternoon (btwn 12pm -1pm) 9/25/2021, at the Budget Host Del Mor Motel in New Berlinville, PA. And get this - these ignorant a**es, led by the fearlessly embecilic, recalcitrant & rude husband, had the nerve to charge me the full rate ($105.44), even though I used my good sense & did not stay there. In fact, it cost me nearly 500% more ($468.00) than what these people (have initially; to date) stole from me ($105.44), to leave this raggedy a** facility. There should have been a "For Whites Only / No Blacks Allowed" sign right out front. That would've been an honest show of how they felt about me, as a Blackman. The asinine husband & father, who (sub Continental) Indian, had a deeply visceral reaction to my very presence. So what does anti Black racism look like from other, non white people?? It looks exactly like what I experienced on Sat. 9/25/2021 at the Budget Del Mor I questioned my ID, why I there, msde sure to tell me repeatedly "1 person in the room". (and paying customer), showing up for (what thankfully wasn't) a
