“Clean Hotel!”

Only problem I had was the pillows was flat. Room was clean and quiet. Plenty of parking spaces. Did not try the breakfast. Hotel was easy to find and great location. Would stay there again.

“Clean and Comfortable”

Our stay was just overnight. but we found this hotel to be clean, comfortable and just what we needed. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the continental breakfast was adequate and good. We have already recommended this hotel to friends.

“Great staff; will be back soon”

I had a fall while in town and ended up on crutches. the staff was very accommodating even though there were family reunions and church groups visiting. Breakfast was just ok.... should have gone out to breakfast.

“Trip to New Bern”

I was a little concerned about this hotel after reading some of the reviews - but we were not disappointed at all with the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the accommodations were great and we had a nice king bed with a water view. the prices were extremely reasonable when compared with other hotels within the same area. We had a three year old with us so did not attempt to walk into New Bern, but the hotel is within walking distance of downtown New Bern. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is visiting the New Bern area.

“Great place to stay and reasonably priced.”

We were very pleased with what we found when we arrived. We had read other reviews but there is nothing like trying it out yourself. We found that for the age of the hotel it was very clean. You could tell that they had recently done some renovating and that really helped. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The continental breakfast was comparable to any of the other hotels that we have stayed at and they kept everything well stocked. The beds were actually more comfortable than some of the more expensive hotels that we have stayed in. Overall we were very pleased with our stay. Thank you so much Bridgepointe Hotel and Marina. We will stay there again if we are in that area.

“Good Hotel!! We'll stay there again.”

We had a non smoking room. The only problem was the smell of cigarette smoke in the hall way. The first half of the floor is non smoking then the other side is smoking. The smoke fills the hallways. It would be better if the top floors were smoking and the bottom floors non smoking. We had to suffer thruogh the smell going through the hallways in the morning to get breakfast.

“Better than expected.”

Wonderful view from window. TV was very blurry. Found Skoal can behind refrigerator. Also found long strands of hair on shower curtain after being cleaned by staff. Very quiet--got lots of rest. Great place for peace & quiet.

“Bridgeport”

This was a nice hotel, but not actually in the historic district. The housekeeping service was very accommodating with our hours, even running to catch us as we left to return my computer mouse found under the sofa. I had trouble with the wireless, and called the number given by the hotel desk on the hotel phone and then was charged for the call, which they said they could not do anything about.
