Lady at the desk was very nice to my 7 year old and family. The room was very clean and remodeled. Granite countertop in the bathroom and very nice linen. We were in town to pick up a new Jeep at Riverside Jeep down the road. We would definitely stay again.

They tried to put us in a 3rd floor room with no elevator. The arthritis is flaring and no way. The desk staff offered a full refund and cancellation. I canceled, but no evidence of refund

The only issue was the elevator was out and we were on the 3rd floor. There was also always food droppings in the stair well. It also sucked the pool was closed, but other than that loved the hotel. Even with contraction going on out front, it wasn't bad!

After checking in I was informed that the elevator did not work. My wife & I both have mobility issues so climbing the stairs to the 2nd floor was quite a battle. The pool was out of order & the guest laundry was also out of order. I will never stay at a Comfort Inn again. I mean NEVER!!!

This hotel needs to be renovated, in room the rugs were stained, the door was getting into the room was broke. The elevator was having technical problems. They offered free breakfast but there was no free breakfast. Thank God I only stayed one night.

Not knowing the area we picked the hotel on price and photos. Average in every way. Hotel is currently behind some big road construction. If I were doing it again I would pick somewhere closer to the downtown area.

Indoor pool was freezing cold. Our room key didn’t work on 2 different occasions requiring us to return from 4th floor room to lobby via the stairs since the elevator was so slow. But the room and property were very clean, very comfortable bed and mostly friendly staff!

Not very clean, the elevator did not work the second day, and we had to carry bags up 3 flights of stairs, and the worst was the at our convention in the city, apparently everyone was trying to leave the hotel about the same time and we had NO HOT WATER the last morning, it was no fun to take a cold shower in preparation for a day long conference.....poor....

The toilet had pubic hair on the underside of the seat and one of the comforters had a very large stain. The room door would not lock when leaving. Will not stay at the hotel ever again.

Nice building, but checked in first room was musty and behind toilet was rusted on floor from water leak, no sink stopper (very tasteless, room carpeting has large red spots. Went down stairs to switch rooms to room 204 and that room was not musty but smelled sour, metal pieces on sink were missing and no sink stopper. They had no more rooms so I was switched back to the better room 312. They apologized, but that’s no excuse for the property being this poor kept. I always book here when needed, bit that was the last stay ever. You have to do better.

Nice one night stay
We arrived a little early so we waited about 10 minutes. The housekeeper was still in our room when we arrived. The room was clean, no problems there. The fridge worked (freezer section too) but the coffee maker was in the bathroom. Didn't really care for that. Was able to get bedding for the sofa bed and had plenty of towels. The shower worked well and was pretty spacious. Was disappointed with breakfast as the term "hot deluxe breakfast" was used, amd it was continental at best. They have a waffle maker, but nothing else besides cereal, oatmeal, nutrigrain bars, and fruit.

Our last morning when i went to the bathroom and turned on the light...guess what ran under the sink..the only one i saw on our 4 night stay...the bathroom was the worse as the outlets didnt even work..so no night light in there. On a good note..it had a sofa and not just a chair. Staff was very nice and a good breakfast.

We found 2 dead roaches as soon as we entered the room. Then the next morning, my husband found a small live one in the bathroom. The next day my husband saw another live one in our room. It’s a nice hotel with a friendly staff, but that issue should have been solved way before now because of prior complaints. We’ll stay somewhere else even though that hotel is convenient to my mom who lives nearby.

Great stay and great value!
The location was great in proximity to New Bern and all the shopping and restaurant venues. The actual location itself doesn’t have a great view and is surrounded by construction right now but that did not deter us. The neighborhood felt safe. The hotel itself was well kept and inviting. Our room was two queen beds with a clinch bed and was spacious enough. The breakfast was good with many hot and cold options. The staff was kind and very accommodating. It was also a good value when comparing to other properties. If I had any suggestions it would be to offer some type of padding for the couch bed mattress as that was a little rough.

Carpet needs to be cleaned asap. Internet not reliable. Our phones had to be constantly checked if we were on WiFi. Shower is terrible, not enough water pressure. Breakfast was good.

Very convenient to in town of New Bern. We stayed in a room with king size bed and pull out sofa. Very spacious. We went to wedding at Amelia Grove and this hotel was 10 minutes away.
