“Hotel Renovation”

The hotel recently reopened as a Hilton Hotel, previously it was a Sheraton. The hotel room's have been renovated. Flat screen TV's, and granite counter tops in restroom. However, I found the mattress to be soft and uncomfortable. The hotel should invest in better bedding. Great location.

“Wedding Night Bliss”

We stayed here on our wedding night and it was fabulous! We were greeted with enthusiasm, told about local places to eat, and encouraged to ask if we needed anything. Our waterfront balcony view was amazing, and the bathroom was very clean. The room service breakfast was one of the best I ever had!

This particular hotel is very nice. Situated at the water's edge with a nice pathway out to the docks. The only down side was that as nice as the room was, it could have used a mini fridge and microwave.

“Fantastic weekend”

I had read other review and had mixed feelings when the reservations were made, however, I was very pleased with the hotel and the room. The views from our room of the waterfront of sail and motor boats were relaxing and very enjoyable. We will definitely make a return visit.

The stay was brilliant - in all respects. If I go there again, that's where I'll stay. Lovely location, great staff, great building. The suite was beautiful.

“Have Already Recommended this Hotel”

My husband and I have traveled to New Bern every year for 22 years. In the past this hotel was under a different chain. Several years ago I noticed the hotel was becoming run down and needed major updating. 2 years ago I was looking for a new hotel to replace the one we had always used. To my surprise, Hilton had taken over our usual hotel and completely revamped it. What a pleasant change. We love the location and all the improvements. Staff was very helpful and couteous. When we were playing golf at one of the area courses, a gentleman who we were playing with asked for a recommedation of a great hotel. We highly suggested he stay at the Hilton Riverfront. He loved the fact that it was in the historic district. We will definitley stay there again and again and again.
