“Amazing place”

This place was huge. The prices were extremely fair, a lot less than you would expect. Very clean and beautiful with plenty to do and see. Will definitely be staying there again.

We were pleasantly surprised at how roomy the place was. Since we arrived late at night, it did seem like we were driving into the middle of no where, but by daylight, every thing was fine. Very convenient to main roads, beautiful surroundings and very comfortable.

More like a Fourplex with one bedroom apts. Better than any hotel I've ever seen.

“GREAT FACILITY - VERY SECLUDED”

I was traveling with with my two daughters and month old grandson. The two bedrooms and two baths were perfect. The view outside our balcony was very nice....birds swimming on the lake and beautiful woods. Property was very well maintained. Landscaping was exceptionally nice. My only complaint would be that there is no staff after 6 p.m. during the week and check-in was rather confusing. (got keys and directions to unit from a safe) Then, it was rather difficult finding our place after dark. The area is rather remote but perfect if you want a peaceful getaway!

“Too far from historical areas”

The villas were very hard to find, directions get you to Fairfield Resort but not to the villa suites. The front gate to the resort is several miles from the villas, and security gates block the entrance. No restraunt within walking distance, 20 minute drive to New Bern, historical part. We arrived at 9:00 in the evening and it was very confusing and took us a half an hour to find our room, just 3 miles away. We usually stay at another hotel with a marina in downtown New Bern, I never even saw the marina at the resort. We love the historical part of New Bern and it is the highlight of our visits. Our room selection was for 1 bedroom with river view, we were put on a golf course instead. I will not use the Fairfield Resort again.

“Family Vacation Resort”

this would be a great place to stay for a family rooms are large & full kitchen nearby area attractions... though about an hour from the coast!
