Yuk! Didn't even open the door to room.

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: It needs to be demolished; leveled!
Location: Good location. Next to LaQuinta, gas stations, gas, food, and all of the attractions.
When I pulled up and checked in, there were a group of people taking turns riding a 4-wheel ATV along the hotel parking lot and entrance; back and forth. There was also work trucks and workers outside using the back of a pick up bed to prop up a small grill, and were cooking right next to the room I was assigned. The people were loud, and there was smoke billowing out of their grill like they were burning more grease than anything else. They had their room doors open so folks could come and go; and from the looks of it, I decided I just could not subject myself to any of that mess. I never even opened the door to my room. I drove off and never looked back. I had to eat the cost of this room because Expedia nor the hotel would reimburse me. So I stayed some place else.

Okay for the price

Posted Sep 2, 2014
We were just looking for somewhere to crash for the night after floating the river all day, not needing anything really nice. Wasn't the best, but could have been worse. We had an outdated room - some friends we were with had an updated room that seemed much better than ours. Over all was okay for the price. No bugs or anything like that, we had nice clean sheets, etc....in our room there were stains on the walls and stuff, but the updated room seemed to be better with freshly painted walls, newer bedding, etc. Hopefully they can make all the updates to all the rooms soon.

The room was very dirty. The bathroom shower had no hot water and didn't drain well.

So-So

Posted Jul 25, 2014
The outside of the hotel looked rundown and not what I expected from the pictures. The hotel staff was somewhat friendly. The breakfast was a joke, but the inside of the rooms looked clean and spacious. I was happy with the interior condition and it was close the stores and resteraunt. The location was difficult to get to.

Terrible access

Posted Jul 7, 2014
The access to this hotel is the worst that I have ever experienced. The pool is about the size of a large hot tub.

It did the job

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: The room was pretty big and seemed to be pretty clean.
Cons: Having enough outlets to power the appliances in the rooms. As well as maybe a better breakfast selection.
Location: I went to Schlitterbahn, which is within 10 minutes of the motel, as well as tubing which was about 20 minutes away from the motel.
It's a fine motel for a fair price. One thing I found to be very odd was that there were several lamps in the room, but not enough outlets to power them all. Also many of the bulbs we're burned out, as well as the mini fridge was super unlevel for some reason. The breakfast was about what I expected. Two kinds of cereal and milk. And some juice that I'm pretty sure was out of date. The room was pretty clean, though and very spacious for what I paid. I'm pretty happy with the motel, and would probably stay there again if the price was the same. I'd recommend it, just be sure you know what you're getting into before you make a reservation.

A roof over our head

Posted Jun 25, 2014
Just needed a place to sleep/stay on a one night budget getaway. I wasn't super impressed but it was better than sleeping in the car. I was really looking forward to a good night's sleep because I did 6 hours of driving, but the bed was super uncomfortable. I've decided I'll go ahead and pay the expensive 3-4 star hotel rates just for a comply bed. Other than that- I felt safe there and was able to take a shower and sleep a little.

About the hotel

Posted Jun 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is very over priced for being old and run down. The website pics are not what was actually in hotel room. Really who needs a kitchen bigger than the bathroom for a one or two night stay. Pool was nice. Hotel manager spoke very little English. No clear entrance to the property
