The bed made a lot of noise when sat on and whiling sleeping, if you turn from one side to the other. Sheets also had stains and the room felt like it was put together quickly

Good rate for a multi night stay. Staff was good, room is okay, but in need of a new mattress and some minor repairs. Value was okay, but noisy in room above and road noise from I-35 is definitely there. Overall not disappointed due to price. Laundry had 1 broken washer but is no charge. Workout room was good.

Front desk service was horrible and didn’t care, rooms are dirty and feel very dirty upon entry. Smoke smell in a room that’s non smoking, limited towels and toilet paper. Overall would not ever stay again

The hotel was in a good location with easy access. The grounds / parking area needed to be picked up and cleaned for liter and debris. Our only complaint about our room was there weren’t enough towel hangers or racks in the bathroom. Thankfully that’s a small item but it would help when you’re attempting to reuse a towel or hand towel.

Easy access to 35, decent sized room. It was not very clean, they didnt have ice, there was a roach in our room. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. I don't think I will be back.

Its a great place to stay when in New Braunfels & actually when I go anywhere anymore I always look for Candlewood Suites their beds & small kitchen is why I will continue to come back

Terrible!! Room and linens smelled like smoke. Barking dogs. No breakfast available, not even coffee one morning. Ice maker in refrigerator didn't work and no ice machines on floors.

When checking in the gentleman was efficient but definitely not engaging. The room was clean at the surface but definitely needed, as did the whole hotel, a deep cleaning. The young lady at the desk when we checked was lovely.

Checked and found a room in need of updating. Missing shower curtain and requested one. After two hours I went to front desk only to be given one to put up myself. Once it was up, discovered it was torn.

It was okay, room was big and clean. The only problem we had was with staff trying to open our door (3x) when we asleep. There excuse was that staff didn't know it was occupied. Really?

I called to say we would be arriving late. Arrived at 1:30 am, the male host didn’t greet us. He asked for our name, ID and CC. Signed the forms and he handed room cards. He didn’t tell us room #, time breakfast hours were. Pointed to elevators. Room was freezing. We slept in our clothes with beanies on our heads. Heat finally came on at 6:30 am. Room was outdated and smelled of mold. Young lady at front desk was smiling and very pleasant as we checked out. We won’t be back . Will stay at Hilton in 2 weeks when we return.

Find another hotel!
Had to move rooms because we saw two roaches. Then the new room was very dirty. Extremely disappointed for having paid $220 for the room. Candlewood is typically a nice stay but this one is trash. The bed sheets didn’t look like they were clean. The clerk when we checked in wasn’t very friendly and the young girl who checked us out didn’t even ask us how our stay was.

The room was clean. The water pressure was too low. There was no trash can in the bathroom. We had a room mix up people entered our room around two in the morning. It was traumatic. The iron worked but the cord would not stay out, very inconvenient. The cost of the room did not meet the actual site and experience of the room. It could have been better. Angel was so inviting and very kind. She gave us site seeing information. I love her attitude it is infectious!!!!

Worst Hotel on the Planet
This hotel was filthy. The staff was rude. The room looked like a crack den. The absolute worst Hotel I have ever seen. We checked in at 1 am after an exhausting day and immediately checked back out. We stayed maybe 5 minutes. The room was unlivable. Stay away from this Hotel.

Some of the front desk employees were pleasant and other front desk employees were too busy on their cell phones and rude if asked a question. The room we stayed in was handicap accessible. The bathroom was outdated and needed new non-slip stripping applied to the shower floor and there was hair still on the shower floor.

A comfortable stay in a good location between Austin and San Antonio. 13 miles from Seguin, there is a great BBQ spot - Burnt Bean.

The check in was good but everything after that was horrible. The room smelled like pee. The couch was so smelly we had to just stay in the bedroom of the room . We ask if they could just take out the couch they said all they could do was spray it with some cleaner . They ended up just taking the couch cushions. And putting a glade plug-in . Plus the microwave didn’t work plus they could put us in another room cause they was packed . I will not stay here ever again!!!!!

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
I was greeted by an empty front desk only to be started by an filthy looking middle aged man who was watching a movie and let me stand there for 5 minutes. The room looked filthy and the bathtub had pubic hair in it. This place was gross.
