Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting.Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: See above.
Cons: Not one thing.
All the hotels in San Marcos were booked as I delayed to reserve when we took our youngest to college so we stayed in the Courtyard River Village. What a great thing that turned out to be! The hotel is right on I 35 so easy access to anywhere we needed to be; the hotel staff couldn't be more welcoming and the setting, oh my gosh, the setting. Who could imagine the serenity in the back of a hotel on an interstate? The gardens are beautiful and the lawn leads directly to the Guadalupe river where there are chairs, picnic tables, ducks waddling around. There is a "beach" area for younger children and the older ones can dive off the piers. There are inner tubes for floating around and noisy, motorized things for those who enjoy that. On the saturday we arrived they were cooking outside on the grill for all to enjoy and this is now our hotel for the next four years when we visit our girl.

Beautiful location on the Guadalupe RiverPosted Aug 5, 2014
Location: Schlitterbahn Waterpark was located close by, which was very convenient!
My family and I stayed there for a long weekend trip to the New Braunfels & San Antonio area. The hotel was well maintained & had very helpful staff. The grounds were absolutely beautiful & we enjoyed listening to the live music they had in the courtyard at night. I would definitely stay there again.

Hidden gemPosted Jun 7, 2014
Other than being able to hear highway noise if you are on the front side of the hotel, everything else is really good. Loved having the river easily accessible and options with Rockin'R group. We rented the boat for an evening cruise and our guide and his wife made it GREAT!!! Couldn't have wanted anything better.

Just happen to find this hotel on hotels.com and loved it. We have been going to new braunfels for years and never had such a good time. The hotel made it. The staff was awesome!

This was a wonderful hotel. The walls are thin, and we had some inconsiderate neighbors. I don't think that was entirely the hotel's fault. I will stay here again, and I am planning to bring my family back!
