“Lacking some basics”

For a new hotel it lacks a few things such as a place to put your toiletries in the shower, easily accessed plugs next to the bed, and bigger pillows. There are no bathtubs, just showers. Pillows are credit card thin.

“not only did I like my hotel but I would tell anyone to stay hampton”

I don't like to hotels because I don't like staying away from home but I will always stay Hampton now.

Area recommendations
I didn't spend much time in the area I went to visit family in a near by town. But the park was really neat with the waterfall.

“Clean and comfortable”

Nice hotel in great condition and a safe neighborhood. The only drawback was that there was no bath, only a shower. (The shower was as large as a tub, it just didn't work well because I have a small child.)

Traveler's tip
Try Taco Cabana and Whataburger, they are both excellent fast food choices and they are open 24 hours a day.
