Save your money

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: location was okay, close to our events, however it was hard to get into the parking lot
Cons: Everything, out dated, and unfriendly staff.
Location: waterpark and the green dance hall and shops
The hotel was under remodeling. The hallway carpet half removed and beds lined the hallway. The maintenance workers were allowed to start working early before 8:15. Front desk manager stated "No discounts for people who book on line." Hotel was a mess and there was not enough room for guests to seat in dinning room area for breakfast. Everyone one had to work around maintenance people and rolls of carpet. The La Quinta's are just not all they are cracked up to be. They are not worth your money. Seem to be a dying hotel chain. I will never say at another one again. Hold out for the better hotel, spend a little bit more, you will be glad you did.

Good hotel and staff. Breakfast was delicious.

Pros: We especially liked the good breakfast.
Cons: No suggestions for improvement.
The beds were comfortable, linens were clean and the bathroom was clean and there was plenty of warm water.

Nice Hotel

Posted Jan 21, 2014
Pros: Close to I-10 and I-35. Restaurants and other businesses close by. Pet friendly. Nice and clean.
Cons: Entrance to hotel is a little tricky. The free breakfast was lacking when compared to other hotels.
Location: Went to hear an artist play music at one of the local venues. Close to Gruene, Texas. Plenty of good music in area as well as other things to do.

Nothing bad to say.

Location: Greune Dance Hall and the town of Greune. Outlets at San Marcos. Heaps of quick takeaway options and a walgreens
Hotel was not bad by any means. Was close to Greune! (defiantly worth going to). Clean hotel room. Staff were friendly. Nothing bad to say by any means.

pet friendly hotel

Posted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: It allowed pets, so we were able to bring our small dog with us.
Cons: Cleanliness and presentation
The room was dim, there were spots on the comforter and there was standing water and a crumpled bath mat in our shower before we even used it.
