Value for money accommodation in good locationPosted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Good room rate, comfortable bed, good size room (one double and one single).
Cons: Definitely the interconnect door to adjacent room needs major soundproofing. Wi-Fi is only good to check email and download small attachments.
Nice hotel with helpful staff. Didn't use in house facilities so unable to comment. The location was good being close to beach (across road), touristy shops and restaurants and with bus stops right outside entrance. Major drawback is interconnect door between the adjacent room has no soundproofing at all. You can hear occupants talking at normal levels. On two nights I got no sleep till 3:30 am due to loud occupants. The room had nice view over pool but has no filter curtain, so to get any privacy you need to close drapes and plunge room into total darkness, alternatively have rooms across from you have free view!

Good locationPosted Sep 22, 2014
Pros: I liked the small balcony. There was a low table in the room that we used, so grabbed a quick breakfast nearby and brought it back.
Cons: If they are to appeal to English speakers, should have someone with better language skills at the desk.
Location: Steps from the beach, nice pool for lounging but it's a circle, so hard to do laps. Food places nearby for a range of costs.
It's on the major bus route, so convenient to get downtown and a number of places to eat within walking distance. We only had one dinner in the hotel and it was very good - but a banquet, so I don't know how the regular food is. If you have a room facing the pool you can watch most of the special Friday night entertainment. If you speak French, you can have a better time with the desk. I don't. I was lucky that a second person came along to understand I wanted a bar of soap at the sink, not to use just the dispensers in the shower.

Lovely pool, close to beach & cafe's good locationPosted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Location, close proximity to transport to get around Noumea and surrounding Islands. Near many bars and Cafe's. Great area for walking, jogging.
Cons: Rooms could do with up dating & room service, cleaning anywhere from 9am till 3pm (long term stayers could have more routine time for cleaning).
Location: Bars, Cafe's, Art Galleries, Island excusions, water sports, walking, easy close bus pick up and drop off to attractions further away, aqaurium.
Spent 8 days here, great location to catch all variety of transport to visit the main land and surrounding islands. Great location for bars, cafe's and shops. Lovaly relaxed pool area. Hotel staff friendly. Room good but dated.

Great location and great value.Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: location and value.
Cons: Perhaps introducing breakfast into all room rates. Even just a continental breakfast. Wifi was patchy in the room itself, but good enough.
Location: Great location, right on the promenade and within walking distance to all things in Anse Vata and also Baie De Citron. Book ahead for Amedee Island.
This hotel wont disappoint in regards to value. For the price we paid, we had a big room, the bathroom was big, the bed was comfy and we had a great sized balcony that we used a lot. We were lucky to have a Sea View, if you can pay the little extra it's nice to have this. The staff were friendly, the parking is free and it's in a great location.

Nice Hotel, Great LocationPosted Jul 16, 2014
Comfortable enough hotel right on Anse Vata beach, near shops and restaurants. Staff were very helpful and happy to help arrange car hire, transfers, etc.

Seen better daysPosted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Godo location close to the beach and restaurants.
Cons: A major refresh to take advantage of the good location and an appreciation that being professional doesn't mean being cold.
Location: Short walk to the beach, great walks and a wonderful array of restaurants.
An efficient but cold reception saw us accessing our room via one of the world's smallest lifts. Only one room key was provided and having a verandah was about the best part of this space. We were leaving early to get the flight back to Australia and the hotel kindly organised a power outage at about our departure time. Shaving in the dark is an acquired skill so I should be thankful for the chance to practice. The light from an e-reader allowed us to check the room before departure.

Close to all amenitiesPosted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the staff were really friendly
Cons: Having more cutlery and crockery in the room
Location: Shops, beaches, buses, bars etc...
Great location...close to buses, beach, nightlife, restaurants etc...No crockery or cutlery in room...total discouragement for self catering. 2 small cups, 2 baby spoons and 2 glasses each is all we had. Overall we enjoyed our stay x

Hotel and EnvironmentPosted May 22, 2014
Pros: Great staff and handy to bus and eating places. Always a smile and goodmorning from staff.
Cons: Shoot the nightclub
Location: Great beach. Water taxi to Duck Island. Aquarium and food.
Hotel was great, easy and fantastic view over the beach. All well there. The big bug was the thump thump of base from 10pm till 3.30am from a nearby nightclub. Doors shut and no earplugs, this was a real downside as we were very tired. From other blogs I have now read this is a problem in Anse Vata where we stayed. This was not the fault of the hotel. Otherwise we would be back to Nouvata like a shot. It is a problem for most hotels I am led to believe in Anse Vata.

Outdated and in need of refurbishmentPosted Apr 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Our room was in the "older" part of the hotel which is the beach side of the complex as opposed to the much newer looking other part of the hotel. It is about two decades past a badly needed refurbishment. The bed was hard and lumpy, the over-the-bath shower was minuscule and you had to compete with a very clingy shower curtain. The room smelt suspiciously like cigarette smoke. Like many things in New Caledonia, it was very expensive for what it was.
