Barely adequate

Posted May 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
It is all about quality to value. This room was worth about $45/night for that it would have been recommended. It was ok for being clean, but it was worn out and not well maintained.

Clean and good value

Pros: price
Location: A little hard to find..It is at a very busy corner and behind other hotels
There was a missing aerator on the sink and torn bed spread otherwise fine and certainly worth the price.

What you see is what you get

Posted Aug 28, 2012 on Hotels.com
This is a decent but no-frills place, but others have said that already, so I won't dwell on it. I would like to point out a couple of specific things that the operators of this inn could work on. First, the strength of the Wi-Fi connection was very poor, and I had to reconnect repeatedly. It did not improve even after I pointed out the problem, so I have to wonder whether they even know how to do it right. I finally gave up and relied on my smartphone. Also, there aren't enough outlets. The only outlets that were available for guests' devices were in the bathroom (unless you unplug the microwave or something). There is something to be said for packing a surge protector if you are going to stay in a place like this, in order to increase the number of outlets. The location is a typical Interstate interchange, but with even fewer amenities (stores, restaurants, etc.) than most.

grubby hotel, you get what you pay for

Posted Aug 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
I did not get bed bugs here, but it was hard to put the idea out of my mind while staying at this Rodeway Inn - the room was really grubby, especially the mattresses and box springs which were graying and falling apart, with barely a sheet to cover them. The whole room had a moldy smell to it. Cheap price, so I guess you get what you pay for. The donuts in the morning were nice, however.

The hotel was well maintained. The manager was very efficient at midnight.
