“They locked me out!!!”
At first, this hotel seemed excellent - good price, good location. Then it fell apart. Literally. Our first morning, we ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant and charged it to our room. On the way back to the room, a part of the drop ceiling near the fitness center had fallen down with water damage. We went out and returned at 10pm to find we were locked out of our room. The front desk said it was b/c when we charged breakfast to the room, there was no credit card on file. As if they couldn't just bill us later or leave a message! My boyfriend left his credit card and got us back in. At 845 the next morning, the cleaning staff attempted to enter our room w/out permission. My fault - I didn't put up the "Do Not Disturb" sign, but still! 845 in the morning?! Plus, they knocked once, then just keyed themselves in - they did not wait for a response. If the deadbolt had not been drawn, they would've been right in the room. Not sure that I would stay here again, but if you need a place to crash, I suppose the problems I had may be mitigated by the hotel's decent price and location. And hey, they room way OK and there was a restaurant w/ a full bar in the lobby.
