its was good experience staying at Avalon, we booked the hotel just same morning of check-in to enjoy our weekend. it is near Sultanpur metro station, jus walking but need taxi or auto to reach coz of locality is not so good. but whn u enter in hotel, it will feel really nice. it is more on Japanese style. nice lobby and restro. we enjoyed the swimming pool too but tired to use gym.rooms was spacious and clean. we enjoyed the stay and feeling to stay another time, if get time again.

surrounding area is not good. food choices are more of japanese and continental. breakfast is okay but i was charged rs. 194 for a coffee which is too expensive for kind of normal coffee during breakfast. i was not charged for mineral water. rooms are good, clean. staff is friendly.

A good budget hotel for long stays.Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: Huge rooms and friendly staff.
Cons: The room should have a curtain between the sitting and the bedroom area.
Location: Absolutely nothing as the hotel is middle of nowhere.
Avalon is a good Hotel for long business stays for people who don't mind using public transport such as the metro, as it is close to the metro station. The hotel doesn't look much from outside, but the facade is deceptive as it is quite spacious from inside. In the room there is nice small kitchenette with a water heater and a Microwave, which is good if you want to bring food from outside and heat it. The restaurant doesn't offer much in fact has a very limited menu other than Japanese cuisine. There also some confusing things such as the payment through cash for in room dining and off course the overcharging of the mineral water bottles is a pain. The main problem is that this hotel is situated in middle of nowhere and best public transport is the metro which is 10min walk from the hotel.

Japanese hotel, middle of nowherePosted Apr 3, 2014
Please note that this hotel caters solely for Japanese tourists. The staff do not speak English. All information is in Japanese/ Indian as is the majority of the restaurant menu. We we're given one sheet of paper with information in English which mentioned five items of clothing would be washed complimentary for staying guests. We confirmed this four times. In the end they wanted 500 rupees from us, we refused and so they said twenty per cent discount could be added. We we're furious but had to get a flight so paid 250 and left. They also tell you that there is no food, ATM or taxis around and that you have to use their services. The taxi is eight times more expensive than the rickshaws which hover near the main road about 300 m away. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Awesome hotel good value for money!Posted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: Professional staffs. Nice clean modern no nonsense room, with everything necessary in place. Awesome breakfast and fitness centre.
Cons: The swimming pool needs to have a drain for the overflow water ...felt a bit guilty to see all the splashed out water flooding the surrounding area.
Location: Close to the airport. Shopping Mall a bit far away. But again in the giant area of Delhi you cannot be close to everything. Hire a cab and get moving!
I had a lovely time during my brief stay at Avalon. The staffs were very professional, the rooms were cosy and clean (we had booked two rooms). The complementary breakfast was amazing, with a lot of verities. The fitness centre had everything required to keep your carbs burning, loved the small pool and the spa definitely was an experience. The hotel also offers Thai massage (paid service), will definitely visit the hotel again next time with my family.
