“Would love to stay again!”

I was visiting New Delhi from Kathmandu. I knew the Hilton was a new hotel, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. From the check-in staff, to the restaurant staff, everyone was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet, which was included in the price, was really delicious and again, the staff extremely helpful. The only thing I would change would be the showers in the rooms with two twin beds. The showers either need larger drains or two drains as the water does not drain properly. If you take a shower at night, there is still water that hasn't drained in the shower the next morning. Other than that, the hotel was absolutely fabulous.

“Couldn't do enough for us”

I'm in my late 50s and was visiting India with my 30-year-old daughter this summer. We were both first-timers in India. As neophytes, we were the targets of many scams and much bureaucratic red tape. The Hilton helped us get out of a shady deal with a sham government travel agency, helped us get a cell phone turned on after the company had given us a phoney fax number, and generally assisted us in every way possible. They also kept our luggage for us when we went on a side trip to Simla, at no extra charge. The service was extremely good, almost embarrassingly so for a Westerner. We're not used to people fawning over us and rushing out to meet us with drinks when we come in hot and sweaty from a day in Delhi. The hotel was pretty far from the main part of Delhi, but it is connected by the new metro.

“Recommendable place to stay in Delhi”

Definitely I would recommend this hotel to stay for business or leisure, the rooms are spacious and well equipped, excellent internet connection (but not included in the room). All employees are very helpful and friendly, from the arrival to departure you're well supported and hosted. The hotel is also nicely located next to a train station which connects you easily in and around Delhi. Outstanding is the buffet in the restaurant on the ground floor, starting from breakfast over lunch time to dinner, the great choice of desserts definitely add some pounds on my hips over the 10 days I stayed there. Also rather exceptional is the outdoor pool on the 4th floor with a water temperatur around 23 degrees. Overall a very good experience.

“An oasis of calm......”

An oasis of calm amidst the chaotic traffic and roads all around, The hotel is new and was slightly further from the International airport than we had hoped - took us 40 minutes in very busy traffiic - but that's Delhi! Most impressed with the tight security as we entered the hotel. Good room, loads of space, nice pool area if the weather is fine and a bar with a 'Happy Hour' that lasted until midnight!

“Excellent Hotel, I would visit it again !”

The hotel was brand new, everything was in excellent shape. At the time of my visit, there were some facilities within the hotel which had not opened; however, the ones that were working, were very good. It's very close from a metro station (use the metro whenever you can, don't waste time on traffic jams). The personel were very friendly and the price was right for an hotel of this class. I highly recommend this hotel.

Although the hotel was an amazingly beautiful hotel with really good security at the gate, it was farther from the city center than I had realized. Anytime I wanted to go into the city, where everything was, I would have to expect an hour drive there with all the heavy traffic. Outside of that, it was a very beautiful hotel, very clean rooms, and pretty much what you can expect from the Hilton. The staff was extremely kind, and helpful. The first night, my girlfriend became a bit sick, and the hotel staff drove into the city for us, and brought us back medication for her within an hour. I would recommend the Hilton again, but maybe next time in the city. Although we toured the city of Delhi a bit, our primary attraction there was The Taj Mahal, which is about four hours drive from Delhi in Agra. It is simple to wake up early, and spend the day in Agra, and return back to Delhi that afternoon. There is also several attractions to experience in Delhi, such as the Red Fort located out there, so one could spend perhaps a few days in Agra as well.
