“Never to return”

I was massively disappointing with this hotel especially as it was the most expensive night stay I had in my entire month of traveling India. Out of the main tourist hub the taxi driver had no idea where this hotel was - neither did the 6 other people he asked along the way. A stroke of luck and we eventually found it. The room itself was in desperate need of a new lick of paint, cold, damp and dirty. The en suite toilet flush did not work and the seat was filthy but there was hot water. All could have been overlooked had this been a budget option. However, the final blow was the pigeon nesting in the wall! It was extremely difficult to sleep with the constant cooing and exceptionally loud water pipes. Ear plugs are a must! I also found the staff generally unfriendly and not particularly helpful. A definite no for any lone travelers.....
