“BED BUGS! Stay away!”
I spent one night at this hotel while I was attending a conference. I booked this hotel because all the hotels in New Haven were booked to capacity. A day after I returned home, I discovered my body was covered in bed bug bites. And there is only one place I could have gotten them from - this hotel. The rooms were shaby, fixtures rusty, carpet worn out, but all that would not have mattered so much if the place was clean and bed bug free. Well, it wasn't! Now I'm worried that I might have carried some bed bugs home in my backpack. My advice, stay away!
“the stink in east gaven”
Not at all worth it. Keep away. Though their were nice people running the hotel the room had a bad odor and eventually on the last day of our stay we found a rotting joint next to the bed. It was a no smoking room with burn holes in the sheets. There wasalso a lot of noise from people at the hotel and the local gangs of kids who hang out in the parking lot. The only good part it was right off 95.
“Overnite Traveler's Satisfaction”
The management were very professional and insured that all our needs were met and cared about us. Although this is not a luxury type motel, it was extremely good for our overnite stay and would recommend it to others.

I found this to be a very good location to stay if one has to go to New Haven. A fine value compared to other inner city hotels. The service andfree breakfast were very good.

Not clean. Pool was closed with out notice when booked. It is June!
“OK for Overnight Stay”
The desk clerk cheerfully changed our rooms since our first non-smoking room smelled of smoke. The 2nd room was clean and smoke free. The room was surprisingly quiet considering the location near the highway. Overall I'd recommend this as a reasonable place to stay one-two nights.
