Older looking outside, but very nice room updates.

Arrived after 1am and staff was friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast bar. Close to Waterbury, less than 3 minutes. Rooms were nicely updated. Very comfortable bed.

Way to expensive for what you get

This hotel costs more than a nice downtown hartofrd room on the 8th floor. First of all, it is TINY. Second of all, you can hear all passing traffic because most rooms have an outside window and door facing the main roads. We were not expecting the ritz but we paid the price of a hotel, not a MOTEL which is what it is. The staff was friendly and super friendly but the price is way too high and for that reason i wouldnt recommend it.

The siding (metal) was hanging off the building

Horrible ..siding hit building all night from wind we got no sleep.. work was miserable the next day

Get a real photo of what you're getting!

Well, do not believe the picture on the website. This hotel is actually a motel on the highway. The room was very shabby and the breakfast we skipped and headed off to a diner.

disapointing

Pros: complimentary breakfast, right off the highway
Cons: clean pillow cases!!! simple thick mattres pad so the bed isnt so stiff.
It was a late check in for my boyfriend and I after we had just drove over 4 hours in awful weather conditions so all we wanted to do was get in a comfortable bed and just go to sleep. Got there around 2am and were greated by the front desk gentleman Mohammad, nice simple quick easy check in (however only 1 key? all places usully give 2) anyways... got into the room pillow cases were yellow( I see the previous comments stating yellow pillow cases and a manager replying stating they will fix that ) well it has not been fixed. The bed was very uncomfortable., the light to the sink didnt even work just flickered twice then went off. For the 5 hours of sleep we should of got, got about 1.5hrs. Woke up for the complimentary breakfast, nice waffle set up, however the counter guy was sleeping (had his head on the wall with his eyes shut) . Overall - will not be coming back here again.

Very pleasant for the money

Overall, everything was fine. Pillows were rather small is only "issue" l. Room was clean, breakfast was above expectation, nice layout. Adjacent eatery not so great.

Was in the middle of a bad snowstorm.

Nice hotel

We stayed 2 nights during a snow blizzard , and it was nice , room was close to parking and staff was friendly. Room had a mini fridge µwave. Nice restaurant next door,and great price.
