Outstanding Experience!

Pros: I appreciated the free internet; it was easy to log on.
Cons: No literature in the room about check out, amenities, etc. Room was modern; not very cozy.
Location: The hotel is about 5-6 blocks away from Bourbon St. so it is a convenient distance if you'd like to be close to the action happening down there.
The staff members at the hotel were incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, pleasant and kind. Any time I asked for suggestions about where to eat, help getting a taxi, making change, catching the airport shuttle, etc. they were there to help me. The room was modern with laminate flooring (no carpet) and the bathroom was nicely updated. The room was clean and functional.

Boutique with great location

Checking-in took quite a long time. While the front desk agent was apologetic, her manager was quite rude to us and annoyed at having to help her. Hotel itself was great although the bathrooms have sliding doors which left a 2 inch gap open. The bartender was quite knowledgeable and friendly.

I had no problems. I will stay here again. I mistakenly left my medications in my room. I call the next day and housekeeping had them. They were mailed to me the next day!!

Centrally located for Mardi Gras parades!

Pros: Decor, staff, location
Cons: Bathroom doors should close completely, they don't, they swing.
Location: Two blocks off Canal, easy access to I-10, very centrally located for tourists and expats alike.
Courteous staff, quiet interior, but swinging bathroom doors make privacy impossible.

Cons: Chest/dresser for clothes in the room.
Location: Eat at Mother's, close to Harrah's and Bourbon St.
We had a nice stay at the AC. The bed and bedding is comfortable. Great location, quiet street. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: could not think of anything...
Location: location was close to,parade route... bourbon street.... harrahs casino.. plenty eating places..
we had a fabulous time.... location is where its at... staff was great...everythong was perfect.. will rebook for next mardi gras...

AC Hotel --Nice place to stay

Location in the middle of the city, nice and clean, staff are friendly, only thing is the WIFI not available in my room, so I have to stay in the lobby to get on line.

Reasonable place - but only at a good price

+'s : Great location, room was actually very nice; appeared clean; breakfast complimentary; parking close by at a good price; free wifi worked; good room price available online -'s : building is a construction site so is messy and noisy; hot water service was intermittent at best - cold showers one morning; some of the staff seemed disinterested in their jobs; breakfast (while complimentary) was marginal and not restocked as it became depleted. Hopefully, the great price I got for this 3* hotel was because the management recognise that it is far from an optimal service and product they are providing. You would not want to pay 'full rack rate' for this property in the state that it is in.

The hotel may be better after renovations but even the carpet was not clean and it was not tighten to the floor. As I walked down the hallway my luggage felt as if it was going over speed bumps.
