Wonderful stay with Ron and BeBePosted Jul 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Ron and BeBe were perfect host. The B&B is a gorgeous, historic home and it is right in the middle of the Garden District. We parked our car when we arrived (free parking) and never got in it again until it was time to leave. The streetcars stop right in front of the B&B so it is very convenient to both the French Quarter and the Garden District. We are looking forward to going back again this fall.

Comfortable and convenientPosted Jul 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hosts were friendly and helpful with information about places to go and things to do. The location was quiet and peaceful, but right on the streetcar line and has a coffee shop, a casual restaurant and a good seafood restaurant within easy walking distance. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast only, but some food is always available. No coffee except during breakfast hours.

Easy like the Big EasyPosted Jun 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great affordable B&B in prime location on St Charles. A street car ride or short drive to downtown warehouse and museum/arts district or easy stroll to uptown restaurants and bars on Magazine St. Friendly and helpful proprietor with great recommendations for dining in the neighborhood. No hassle parking and easy like the Big Easy is known for. I will return and stay here.

Great LocationPosted Jun 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were made to feel as though it was our home, good to sit around a large table for breakfast and talk with the other guests, then sit on the balcony in rocking chairs. Lovely room with 4 poster bed. The tram stop is outside the house $1.25 each to french quarter. The garden district is beutifull good restuarants nearby. Can park on the road or in the back of the house - no charges. House is wonderfull we fully reccomend this property it added to the enjoyment of our visit.

Charming B&B in Old New Orleans StylePosted May 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Avenue B&B on St Charles Ave. was a delight. The location, which is right on the St. Charles Street Car Line, was very convenient to go and come back from the French Quarter or the Garden District. The owners, Joe and Bebe were so very accommodating in every way. They oriented us to the city, recommended some great restaurants of which there are over 14,000 in New Orleans now. We had a room facing St Charles Ave. which was very comfortable with very high ceilings and filled with antique décor. The AC worked well. Morning continental breakfast had a large variety of breads, cereals, etc. to select from. Snacks were available to all guests at anytime. I would highly recommend this reasonably-priced, quiet B&B with it's personal touch.

Awesome Location!Posted Apr 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great place to stay! Quiet area of St. Charles. Offers what an average hotel does not. Sitting on a beautiful front porch with a drink watching the street cars go by was priceless! My business trip felt more like a pleasure trip!

Perfect get-a-way!Posted Feb 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location was ideal for us since the trolley runs right in front of the house. It made getting around NOLA without a car very easy. The house and rooms were lovely and the staff made us feel at home. Staying here just added to the overall NOLA experience and made it that much more enjoyable. I plan to stay here again on our next trip.

The owner and his wife have been in the hotel business many years, and very hospitble. Lovely large historic home with 11 foot ceilings nice porch and patio for relaxing under the live oaks. Only a few blocks away from a great restaurant, Supreme Seafood. Near the corner of Saint Charles and Napolean.

Great B&BPosted Jan 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed 4 nights with my husband and couldn't be happier with my choice! The location is very convenient and both the house and the neighborhood are beautiful. The continental breakfast was delicious and parking is free. What more could you ask for? We are planning to come back to NOLA in the summer, and we'll definitely stay at the Avenue Inn again!

Peace and QuietPosted Dec 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Inn is an amazing structure. The details in the moldings and flooring have been carefully restored. The house is incredibly quiet. We were there on a full night and hardly heard a soul. The staffs goes out of their way to make you feel like a guest in their home ('cause you kind of are). Another great feature is the lack of hidden or extra charges. They leave snacks, bottled water and other beverages out for the guests to help themselves. Next time we're in NOLA, we're staying at the Avenue Inn.
