Honeymoon

Posted Jul 7, 2014
My wife and I stayed here three nights on honeymoon. Everything was great except the air conditioner in the room never really worked right. You had to completely shut the system off for five minutes, then turn it back on to get it to cool the room. And that only lasted a couple hours till you shut it off and reset it again. If you left for an extended amount of time the room would climb back to 80. The hallways were cooler than my room in 95 degree New Orleans heat and humidity.

Much better out there for the price. Avoid.

The hotel was an introduction into the timeshare sales experience, under the guise of offering special package deals for various tours. The staff was not attentive to a wifi problem in the room. The staff needed to be reminded now and then to follow up on other requests. Being a family of 4, there were no accommodations for our numbers in that there were no extra shampoos or extra supplies to take into account what was needed for us. If this was the experience that a potential timeshare customer has, I cannot imagine what an actual owner would feel like.

Reasonable in Garden District

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Minimal service, slow to respond to requests
Cons: Faster service (esp. Getting your car brought up)
Location: Right on the St. Charles street car line in the Garden District.Easy to get to Audubon Zoo, museums and French Quartee
Reasonable experiance, not much on service- I was told that it was "time share" not a hotel, so there was no housekeeping (beds weren't made, no cleaning, changing towels etc.) The staff were nice, and so was the facility

It was very clean. I was disappointed that there was no room service. I didn't realize that before booking. Everything else was very nice

I went there for my son's Law School Graduation. The weather was horrible-it never stopped raining. My daughter was rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night. Nothing seemed to go right except for the Hotel. The staff was so helpful. I was trying to get cabs to the hospital, back and forth. I was very nervous and by myself. But they were so helpful, they helped me get through it. I can't thank them enough. I will always be grateful to them.

Pros: Staff and amenities
Loved garden district close to commanders palace, best meal ever, close enough to everything else you want to do in New Orleans.

Under construction

Posted Apr 1, 2014
The hotel was nice & clean, but the front entrance was under construction. Our room was also not far from the elevator so we had a lot of noise. The worst thing was the staff trying to sell out "time shares". They even called and woke us up the first moring asking us to ho to one of the meetings. Outside of those things the hotel was great!
