This is a good hotel in a nice area

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: The location
Location: There is a street car that passes by the hotel and takes you to the French Quarter. You can also walk around because it is a nice area.
This is a nice hotel in a good area of New Orleans. There is a restaurant/bar next door and the food is very good. We only spent one night but we enjoyed our stay.

Great Stay!

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: The room was pretty.
Location: Located in the Garden District
This hotel is in the Garden District and in order to get to the French Quarter you will need to take a street car. Since there is construction going on you have to take a bus and then a street car. It was still the same price ($3.00 per person) and really wasn't a big deal. The breakfast was really good and the desk clerk was very patient with all of my questions. This was a great hotel (and very quiet).

Pros: Easy to catch the trolley to the French Quarters. Free parking. Free breakfast.
Location: Located in the Garden District. Restaurant next door. Cool cemetery down the street.
Great time with the family. Aquarium is a must visit. Steam boat ride was really nice. Battle field was interesting.

Nice hotel in the Garden District

Posted Jun 12, 2014
A friend recommended this hotel and we were very pleased. The staff were very friendly and helpful with tours and restaurants that were close. We walked one block to catch a bus to a trolley car to downtown. We enjoyed staying in the Garden District. It was quiet and we were able to enjoy looking at the homes built in the late 1800's.Our car was parked in the hotels gaited parking lot.We didn't use our car after arriving. We used public transportation. We would stay here again!

Perfect

Excellent part of town. Enjoyed Easter/4/20 this year. No smoking in hotel but in a city like NOLA, who wants to stay inside

New Orleans, Garden District

Pros: Great location
Room smelled funny, beds were old and not comfortable. Location was great, and the hotel looked great from the outside. The room was disappointing.

Good hotel closeish to Tulane.

Posted Mar 19, 2014
We picked this hotel since it was on the street car and had easy access to Tulane. Hotel was fine but room was a bit musty. That mostly worked out when we turned the air conditioner up. Breakfast was good for a quick bite. Hotel was quite so easy sleeping. Use the steps, it's faster than the elevator!
