Excellent location in the French Quarter.Posted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: Rooms were beautifully appointed and very clean. Loved the courtyard pool as the weather was extremely hot and humid during our stay in September.
Cons: Some rooms face the street and are noisy. Ask for a room facing the pool courtyard.
Location: Families would perhaps not want kids staying in this location, but great for grown-ups. Streets are alive late into the night, every night!
Absolutely beautiful hotel... Excellent location right in the middle of the French Quarter between bustling Bourbon Street and Jackson Square, where you can pick up tours or the street-cars. But really, staying here at Bourbon Orleans, you rarely have to go far for anything you want to do or see. Great food and shops on every nearby street. The hotel is steeped in history and supposedly haunted ( I never knew this before booking but we were not bothered by any!).

Nice hotelPosted Sep 17, 2014
This is a nice hotel if a little tired. A good 3 star hotel but have an inside room to escape the noise.

Long weekend in NOLA.Posted Sep 16, 2014
Pros: Location is perfect, bar is sophisticated, opens into Bourbon Street but offers a haven from the chaos.
Location: 5 min walk to al attractions, the river, streetcar, tours, bars, everything.
Perfect hotel in the centre of the French Quarter, pool looked nice but we didn't have time to use it. Hotel bar is great. Staff all very helpful and on the ball.

Pleasant stay in the heart of the French QuarterPosted Sep 15, 2014
We stayed at the Bourbon Orleans hotel for four nights in July and were very pleased with the hotel especially the location which is right in the heart of the French Quarter but reasonably a good distance from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street. Close to Jackson Square, St Louis Cathedral and other main tourist sites. Hotel staff were lovely and although rooms were quite small, were still very comfortable.

Nice hotel but couple of nigglesPosted Sep 14, 2014
Cons: Sort out the sticking door and remove the desk.
The room was a little small for so much furniture ..the desk was a bit superfluous. Take that out and put in a bedside table and the bed could be pushed over to make space for better accessing the wardrobe. But it was a good size bed and walk in wardrobe plus excellent shower in the ensuite. Our room looked over the pool and was quiet apart from the dancing elephants in the room above. The other niggle was the ensuite door scrapped the floor so nocturnal visits to the loo were not quiet. The other draw back was that the service elevator was used for this wing ... Slow and small. Overall a good location for all that New Orleans has to offer.

Rght in the middle of the action!Posted Sep 12, 2014
A great New Orleans experience! Walk to anywhere in the French Quarter. A grocery store around the block. Hotel recommended very good restaurants close by. Rooms were large and up to date. Noise late at night was minimal. Felt very safe with lots of police presence at night. Lobby and pool areas were lovely for a quiet moment. Amenities like free water in room, complimentary drink at the beautiful bar opening onto Burbon Stret, iced tea or hot coffee in lobby at all times, were nice extras.

First the location cannot be beat, smack in the middle of the French quarter. The lobby, pool and rooms are quite beautiful, the staff were all very nice. We loved our stay.

Pros: Access to all in French quarter
Cons: Change the color of the pool liner water looks dirty. So we did not use it.
Location: Between bourbon and royal street that says it all.
