Great hotel in French QuarterPosted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: Great location in the French Quarter - right behind St Louis Cathedral,
Cons: Hotel TV didn't carry HBO. Not a big deal, just saying.
Location: See my experience above
Spent three days at the Bourbon Hotel. Centrally located in the French Quarter. Was able to walk everywhere. Jackson Square, Cafe du Monde, the French Market, and the River Walk, with the Riverboat "Natchez", are a short, safe walk away in daylight. At night, great bars and restaurants are within two-three blocks on Royal or Bourbon St. Both streets are limited to foot traffic at night, and are active with shops and entertainment, making the area relatively safe. Still need to be careful. Also, most tour companies offer Hotel pickup at the Bourbon. Staff was very helpful. Would stay there again in a heatbeat.

First Time Staying HerePosted Oct 19, 2014
I've been to Nola many times, and this was my first time staying at this normally expensive hotel. Expedia had a great package two night deal at the time of booking so I jumped at the chance to finally stay here. I very much enjoyed my stay here. We arrived before noon but did a pre-check in and in a matter of a half hour our room was ready. The room was a little on the small side with a queen bed, but a big french door window in the room brought a lot of light. It was also very clean and bathroom nice as well. Quiet hotel. Friendly staff. Free coffee in the lobby in mornings. Free drink tickets for O Bar upon checking in (do visit there). The central location was great for long days of walking. I very much enjoyed staying here! I hope so again next year!

Great locationPosted Oct 19, 2014
Was recommended this establishment by others and was not let down. Due to the location of my room to the elevators, the staff was awesome and let's customers use the freight elevator for easier access. Was given a room on the inside track facing the pool so I didn't hear Bourbon street at all hours of the night. All in all this will be the place I stay when I make return trips.

Everything was perfect.Posted Oct 18, 2014
Pros: The hotel staff couldn't be nicer. Also the food in the Roux restaurant was very good except a little bit on the pricey side.
Cons: I wish the room was a little bit larger.
Location: The hotel is within walking distance of all kinds of restaurants, shops and jazz clubs.
We stayed 4 nights at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel. This was my husband and my first trip visiting New Orleans.

Good location!Posted Oct 18, 2014
The hotel is an easy walk from French Quarter attractions, and actually has a great restaraunt and bar right in the hotel! The bartender, Steven, won barkeep of the year in NOLA. I do recommend this, especially if it is your first time in town.

Pros: Staff was very nice
Cons: room/elevator keys, Bourbon Street wasn't a noise issue but the trucks early in the morning (4:00 AM to 6:00AM) woke us all up every day.
Location: It is handy to most everything.
Room keys were also supposed to operate the elevator and didn't work very well, most guests that we talked to also had the same problem. We only had breakfast in the hotel several times and food was just ok.

Heart of French QuarterPosted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Location, size of room.
Cons: Softer pillows. Would have liked for my room to be vacuumed every day. We did elect to reuse towels and not have the bed changed.
Location: Central location. Near shopping, dining, entertainment.
Loved the location and our room with balcony. Would stay here again. We were within walking distance of most everything we wanted to see or visit.

Close to the action but quiet and cozy!Posted Oct 13, 2014
This was our first trip to New Orleans and the hotel made it the perfect trip! The Bourbon Orleans is right in the middle of everything, but quiet and cozy enough to get the relaxation you need. Will definitely be staying again on our next trip down!

We had a wonderful quiet room on the 6th floor overlooking the court yard. Staff very friendly.
