Very disappointingPosted Sep 17, 2014
Pros: the rate
Cons: renovate the hotel
The room is clean. The staff was okay--no one did anything wrong but they're not over the top friendly. The room was VERY VERY small. Hotel parking is first come, first serve or you pay $22 per day for valet parking. Very limited hot breakfast was provided. There was loud music and sirens blaring periodically... If you're looking for a cheap way to do New Orleans this is the way. If you're used to amenities and want to feel safe and comfortable in your environment, choose another place.

Cons: I don't see where you can get better than the best.
Location: canal Street, New Orleans, everything to do and see.
The hotel was very nice, beautiful view from the 12th floor, especially at night. Very nice room, all the comforts, staff very helpful and courteous.

Nice small hotel. Room wasn't anything special but wasn't in bad condition. Longer walk than anticipated and a little too close to the bus stops with sketchy people

Beyonce & JayZ Concert/ Weekend StayPosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Complimentary breakfast was awesome! Variety of choices.
Cons: Noise level when housekeepers are cleaning avoid letting doors slam.
Location: New Orleans, LA- Location
My stay at Clarion Inn (New Orleans) was ok. The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly. However, early in the morning it was a bit noisy but overall we enjoyed the stay and will use the hotel again.

got a lot more then we expectedPosted Jun 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
I def will choice the clarion again. We stayed there for a friend's wedding and it just so happened to be on a weekend of some festival which means room rates were thru the roof. I choice the clarion knowing it was a little further down canal st then I wanted to be. But we had a nice kitchenette an nice room we had more options the some friends staying at the Sheraton and they paid double what we paid for ours.2 things that they could improve on is more plug in outlets in the rooms and have the front desk tell all your customers when they come in if at any point during your stay you need a cab please let us know and we will set that up for you.

Good location for walking in New OrleansPosted Jun 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
Unfortunately our room was right next to the elevator shaft & it was noisy with the sound of the moving elevator, both the working parts & the beeping at each floor.

Good location and pretty views!Posted Jun 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
Room was nice and spacious rooms. Average continental breakfast with abnormal occurrences. The second morning we were there I noticed a cute dog hanging out with me at my table....ooookaaaaayyyy. Turns out she broke in at the side door the hotel keeps open during the day for guests. The staff got her out (unfortunately). Second day a bum came in for breakfast...I didn't see the big deal but the staff reaction was apropos for the situation. Other than that sit back and enjoy the diversity that makes this city beautiful.

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. The location was good, very close to the French Quarter. There is NO PARKING. The best thing to do is park in front of the hotel, unload your stuff and pay the extra $22 for the valet parking. The hotel is older so there are some issues with the paint, air conditioning and the facilities working correctly. I would say it is about average....

Good hotel!Posted Jun 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good hotel at a good price! Can't complain. The couch in our room had stains on it and just didn't look clean. Other than that, I'd recommend the hotel.
