Good location, but not happy with staff response.Posted Oct 4, 2013
Pros: Donald, on night duty, went above and beyond to help us out.
Cons: Responsibility of staff to acknowledge or return items left behind. And returning a call after repeatedly promising to do so.
Location: Close to airport.
We received great service from "Donald" -- who was on duty nights and made a special trip to pick us up at the NOLA airport after a late (midnight) arrival. On the other hand, my husband left a shirt hanging in the closet which had some important notes in the pocket. We called just a few hours after leaving the hotel, when we realized the shirt was missing. No one at the hotel could find the shirt, even after saying they would "check the room and call us back" -- but they never did. We ended up having to call 4 or 5 times, each time they said no shirt was found. But he is absolutely sure he left it there. We would have been happy to pay postage for them to return the shirt to us. There must be a protocol for "lost and found" -- it seems no one cared enough that we were concerned about the loss (both of the shirt and the notes in the pocket). This left us with a very bad feeling about Comfort Inns, unfortunately.

Nice new hotelPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
I'm a fan of the Comfort Inn and Suites hotels, so I jumped on this deal right away. Being from New Orleans, I knew this was a new hotel, so I couldn't wait to try it out. It was the standard Comfort Inn comfortable stay and being a new location adds to the value. It's only minutes from the Louis Armstrong airport and I-10. I didn't get to try them but there's new equipment in the fitness room. The only complaint is I wasn't too crazy about the pillows on the bed but that's far from a deal-breaker for me.

Very nice staff, clean hotel, and they let you park your car there for free while you are on vacation.

Great experience.Posted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
In short, the hotel was great. Nice people, excellent a.c., clean and comfortable rooms. The only down side was that their walls are very thin. I could hear conversations from the rooms adjacent to me. They were not yelling either. But its nothing the t.v. couldn't fix. Luckily, my neighbors slept fairly early and was not an inconvenience. Would stay again.

I'd stay there againPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
The family was passing though New Orleans for one day and we needed a place to crash. We always try to stay at Comfort Inn or Country Suites because you can't really go wrong. Staff was very friendly. Put us in a smoking room accidently but fixed the problem immediately. The 2nd room the shower drained very slowly. There is a Wendys across the street which is convenient. The area is industrial but very clean and we felt safe. I could not hear any nearby trains or planes. Make a right out of the hotel and the road takes you straight into Downtown N.O. (about a 20 min drive with lights).

It was a very nice room. It appeared that the hotel was either new, recently renovated or impeccably taken cared of. The airport was quite close and very easy to access from the hotel. My only complaint is that the mini fridge made too much noise.

Far from downtown attachtionsPosted Jul 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was very clean and no problems with the room. Distance to downtown and French Quarter was only draw back of hotel.
