Pros: The staff tried to fix the problems, except the maintenance man. Staff were polite and very helpful
We booked the hotel about 3 months in advance for a queen suite. When we got into the suite it was incredibly hot since the air conditioning was not working. Since the internet was down he had to manually find us a room, which was a double. Not a suite and in very poor condition, but the air worked. The next morning we found that the shower ran at a very poor rate. It was because the tub spout did not seal correctly so only half of the water was diverted to the shower. we reported they attempted a fix but it wasn't much better. The wireless never worked well nor would HBO work. the second night we brought back leftovers from dinner only to find the refrigerator did not work either. They did compensate some for the regular room over the suite.

The front desk employees were not approachable, and did not listen when we called to get a latter check out. Instead they called back a few minutes later tell me that the valet had brought our car around. The breakfast was under cooked and was not good at all. The bathroom in our room stunk and needs work. Everyone and everything else was ok.

HOTEL EMPLOYEE STOLE MY ENGAGEMENT RING and MEDS!!

Pros: anything good about this hotel was negated by our experience
Cons: Remove stained furniture and rugs
Location: walking distance to the French Quarter
I didn't feel safe wearing my engagement ring in the city, so fiancé placed the ring in a bottle of medicine. When we went to get the ring out of the bottle, we found the ring missing along with some Xanax. The hotel owner said "he will take care of it", but his insurance company denied the claim to replace the ring and will not return our calls. We take multiple vacations and weekend trips and stay at roughly 5-10 hotels in a year and have never had anything stolen from us. The hotel itself is very rundown. There were stains on the couches and the rug was very old. There was construction going on around the hotel that happend through the night and early morning. We couldn't sleep due to the construction past midnight and were woken up to the construction each morning around 6am.

Room was very outdated. Good location and okay price during Mardi Gras. Best part of the experience was the hotel staff. The hotel staff was great and the breakfast was really good.

When we walked into the room, it looked like a decent room. But when we got ready for bed, we found a dead bug between the bed sheets, and when we turned on the shower, ants flew out of the faucet.
