Just a ouple blocks from Bourbon StreePosted Dec 15, 2014
Staff was nice ans will have a conversation with you. The hotel was clean. The bathrooms are way too small. The only thing that really disappointed me was the water pressure from the lavatory,it didn't have any pressure as if the piping was clogged.

Great visit.Posted Dec 11, 2014
Pros: The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. Its an older hotel but it is kept clean.
Cons: It is what it is. it's worth the cost but it is an old hotel.
Location: It's a couple of blocks from Canal street and from there you can make connections to every place.
We had a great experience overall. We enjoyed most of what we did and saw. We ate at the Court of Two Sisters Café and that was outstanding. A bit expensive but worth it. The Aquarium of the Americas was great and so was the river walk Always some thing going on. But there also were some disturbing sights on the side streets (drunks) and a lot of free loaders ( pan handlers) were every where.. I guess that's to be expected.

OK placePosted Nov 22, 2014
Pros: Location and price
Cons: The beds, which were not comfortable.
The hotel is near enough to the excitement in New Orleans, but is not in great shape. Most disappointing were the mattresses, which were old and lumpy. I would not stay there again unless they upgraded the rooms and beds.

DisappointedPosted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Location, valet parking reasonably priced.
Cons: Better service and accommodating guests whenever there is a problem.
Location: Close to French Quarter, the Sanger Theatre, Canal Street, shopping.
Our reservation was made 3 months ahead of time for a queen suite. When we arrived we were given a "suite" that was one ordinary sized ROOM with 2 full beds and a broken refrigerator. We were told by staff, "so sorry", they had no control over rooms booked through Expedia and could do nothing. At check-out I questioned the $250.00+ cost for a "suite". I was told the manager was busy, but would address matter and call me same day of checkout. I haven't received a telephone call in spite of fact they have home #, cell#, and email address. The location was good, staff nice, BUT we were very disappointed with the quality of the room and apathy of management in regard to addressing our issues. Unless BIG changes are made, I could not recommend the Comfort Inn and Suites Downtown, NOLA.

Centralt hotellPosted Oct 17, 2014
Centralt hotell till bra pris, nära till allt. Frukosten var enkel men ändå bra. Rummet var bra städat. Vi möttes av en kanin gjord av handdukar, vilket gav ett mysigt första intryck!

Not too far from actionPosted Oct 6, 2014
Hotel was decent, rooms & bathrooms really spacious.....jetted tub but outdated. Good breakfast and not too far to walk to the action or streetcar/bus stops.
