“who dat”

Walking distances to the French Quarter and to Bourbon St. Free cookies all day long, small bar and choices of food was minimal but then we ate out all day long, so we didn't try the snack menu. Everybody was helpful and nice and the room was good sized and the small refrigerator and free internet were a nice touch.

“Had a wonderful time..location excellent”

Hotel was within walking distance to aquarium, boats, riverfront, Harrahs, Burbon St, Cafe Du Monde, French Market...although far end was the French Market (approximately 1 1/4 miles. The hotel offers assistant with tours and transportation. I loved the cookies that were offered everyday. The breakfast was a good variety and opened up early enough for us to eat before we had to be at the train station when we left. We sat outside every morning in the patio because the weather was beautiful. Just want to warn everyone that the sidewalks are being reconditioned had a few holes where bricks or concrete had disinigrated and you had to be careful not to trip. I tripped and fell and scraped my knee, but hotel had first aid and I was fine.

“Was our second visit and we WILL be back again!”

This was our second vacation to New Orleans and both times we stayed at this hotel because we loved it so much. The location we perfect! We parked our car and were able to walk to all area attractions - the tours, the riverwalk, the aqarium, the shops, the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, the French Market, the Cathedral, tons of restaurants, and more! The service was wonderful. Every single person we came in contact was so helpful. They have someone to even help you book tours and the bus picks you up right at the hotel. The hot breakfast buffet was delicious - new menu every morning. We loved the pool too; it was nice and warm. There's a great work-out room but we were too busy having fun to use it. We had a wonderful stay and will never stay anywhere else - it's a phenominal value!! :)

“Excellent customer service!”

The hotel staff is obviously well trained in customer service. I applaude the entire staff in taking the effort and initiative to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I won't stay anywhere else when I return to New Orleans.

“Beautiful, comfortable, and well located!”

This hotel is a very nice converted warehouse about 3 blocks from the Quarter, 3 blocks from the riverfront, and maybe 6 or 7 blocks to the streetcar station, which is right next to the amazing WWII museum. The area was very nice and fairly quiet. Compared to the last time I was in New Orleans 15 years ago, everything seemed generally safer, especially in the Quarter. You can purchase valet parking with your hotel room, which makes the price a bit easier to stomach. The valet kids are really sweet and so are most of the staff. Everyone was really nice and accommodating. You can have your hotel room windows face into the courtyard (not many available), out to Magazine (even fewer), or out into the alley. If you get the alley room, just ask for a floor up high, so you don't have to watch bums peeing on the dumpster while you're laying in bed. We were on the 4th floor facing the alley and it was very nice. Although I wished the windows would open! The building is beautiful, having been quite elegantly converted from a warehouse. The interior architecture is very cool looking above the lobby and courtyard, though the courtyard is tiny and the pool even tinier. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. It's in the perfect location, it is lovely and comfortable, and the staff are very nice and helpful. If you are looking to lay by the pool or party in your room, this isn't the place to stay.

“HALLOWEEN IS THE NEW MARDI GRAS”

From the moment my friends and I stepped foot in this hotel we felt welcomed. Southern hospitality mixed with actual personality and warmth. The front desk pointed us in every right direction, whether it be for a good meal, haunted house or a party scene. This place is very close to all the action. 2 blocks from the casino and aquarium, 4 blocks from bourbon and the french quarter. Can't be beat. The beds in this place are second to none!! Not only are they clean but they are sooo comfortable. It was a chore to get up in the morning and a blessing to lay down every night. When I come back NOLA I'm definitely staying @ this hotel again.

“Great Hotel and Staff”

The service and hotel were great. It was a wonderful hotel close to the conference that I was attending, with substancially lower rates. The service was first rate from check in, to the concierge, to the bartender and housekeeping. A good solid breakfast was provied every morning and there were free cookies! Just remember that it is a lounging pool, not a swimming pool or you will be disappointed with that. I would stay again and recommend it in a heartbeat.
