Nice hotel close to the French QuarterPosted Jan 22, 2015
Pros: The location
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is great...close to the French Quarter. You definitely don't need to rent a car. Taxi ride to the hotel from the airport for 3 people was $14 each. We walked everywhere or took the street car for $1.25 ($3 all day pass) Being 3 women on vacation, we felt safe, but were cautious in certain areas of the city. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful with directions and suggestions of where to go. Our room was on the main floor, 2 queen beds, high ceilings and a huge window that looked at an alley. (The day we arrived NCIS New Orleans was filming in the alley, so that was really fun to watch) I know some people complain about the street noise, we really didn't have that issue except for our last night, we heard a lot of noise coming from the alley. The pool courtyard is really quaint with a small heated pool. We appreciated the free breakfast in the morning. Each morning something different was served. Some places we really enjoyed for food....Chop House across the street, Giovannis ( a few blocks away) Mothers(right around the corner), Central Brewery (on Decatur in French Quarter), LOA for cocktails, Pat OBriens (really nice outdoor dining). We went to Frenchmans Street 2 nights for some great jazz music. I highly recommend making a reservation at 3 Muses for dinner and jazz. Spotted Cat across the street from 3 Muses has great music too, but no food.

Great!Posted Jan 22, 2015
Cons: Was a little chaotic in there at times, lots of people coming and going. Could use a couple more staff.
Hotel is in a great location, two blocks away from the French Quarter, so close to the action but you can sleep at night. Warehouse district is up and coming with great restaurants. Beds were comfy, breakfasts were good. Concierge was amazing - his food suggestions were spot on. We would definitely stay here again. Good family spot.

Nice boutique hotel.Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Very well located, excellent price for the area and the breakfast was very good.
Cons: An earlier check in time and flexibility for late check outs. Check is 4pm and check is 11am. Feels like guests are imposing on their time.
Location: Great location, blocks away from Royal and Bourbon st.
Very good experience, well located hotel with lots of amenities. Great breakfast included.

A very pleasant stayPosted Jan 11, 2015
The Country Inn hotel is a great place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in New Orleans. The hotel is in a safe location and just a few blocks from the French Quarter. Very close to Harrahs and the River walk Outlets, museums and aquarium. The staff was very courteous and helpful during our stay there and the breakfast was very good too. Though I would have liked a better view of the city, all of the things I have mentioned trampled my need for such a small want. A must stay in New Orleans!
