Will not stay here again.

Pros: close to the airport.
Cons: bigger hot water heater.
Location: nothing to walk to and the shuttle would not go to the casino 2 miles away. dangerous area in one direction and highway to the next.
There was no hot water and who time to just let it run until it warms up. It never warmed up it was cold and too cold to take a shower. I had to wash my hair in the sink. also I got a bill for the first night stay and I was scheduled for 3 days. The front desk personnel were also not friendly.

It was ok. A little far out from the excitement, but not too bad. The only thing was the airplanes that flew over the room. I mean this hotel was practically on the landing strip.

Nice staff/Bad food/Musty smell

The lady at the check-in desk could not have been sweeter. However, the room smelled a little musty and the sheets DID NOT smell fresh. I ordered fish and chips from the hotel restaurant and I got charred frozen fish sticks.

Pros: close to airport.

Breakfast food awful, toilet clogged, elevator smelled, room adequate, no towel racks in bathroom.

On a couple of issues, so that you are aware the elevator has been recently serviced and this could be the smell of oil/grease you experienced. I am glad that you found the room adequate. Business in N'awlins

I travel to New Orleans and the surrounding area frequently. The downtown hotels have become ridiculously expensive. This hotel was clean, safe, and relaxing. The only con is that you're at the foot of one of the runways of New Orleans Int'l Airport. But while I could hear the planes taking off, I soon found myself not noticing them. And after about 10:30PM, the flight frequency slows considerably. Slept really good. Very nice hotel. Great breakfast and supper buffet.

a free shuttle (a big van) was very comfy; airline flight attendants also stay here; but the ventilation fan and the noisy were quite noisy

Walking in, I was greeted by the feel of being home due to expansive and bright lobby and restaurant. Planned to dine out but met another guest who recommended the hotel eatery. Best hotel food I have ever eaten. I have chemical sensitivities but this is the first hotel that was free of strong chemical and fragrance smells I have experienced in years. Very comfy and clean room. Disappointed to learn the hotel will become a Radision hotel as I feel this will change to home vibe and affordability of current Country Inn affiliation.

Good hotel near airport

Pros: Convenience. Good breakfast.
Cons: Maids should be told to run hot water in shower and report dials that do not allow hot water to come out.
Location: Was there on business in Metarie.
I am writing for my husband. He thought location was good. His room was fine but he had no hot water. The first text said, "hot water in sink but not tub." His second text said he was going to move rooms and on his last night around 10 pm, they moved him to a room with hot water in the shower.
